Wah.

Don't bring your kids here illegally then.

Problem solved!

Whew.

that was tough!

Now lets fix the economy.

1) That doesn't solve the problem. It's just your wish. As we all know about things like drugs, prostitution, and gambling deterrence punishments aren't solutions to anything and people will do them anyways. They just function as a way for wannabe hardasses to feel self-smug about "fixing" a problem.

2) Seeking asylum isn't breaking the law and those families are being broken up too.

3) Adhering to the law doesn't mean we have to be immorall douches about the process.

It is when you dont go through the proper channels to seek Asylum, there is a process for it

Crossing the border is a crime. this whole "Asylum" thing is just a new catch word for the same crap they have been doing for years. So now guess what? Ok youre seeking asylum now? were going to detain you until we can determine

A) youre not a prior criminal returning
B) youre not MS 13
C) Youre not child trafficking
D) youre genuinely seeking Asylum

3) Adhering to the law doesn't mean we have to be immorall douches about the process.

Its not immoral to punish criminals for their crimes.

Business want illegals, business owns government, therefore no real change other than giving the slight appearance of doing something.

pathetic.

Word changes. . . for the children.

You don't know the process behind seeking asylum huh?

Its not immoral to punish criminals for their crimes.

So you see nothing immoral about this policy of Jeff Sessions to separate the children from their families?

What world are you living in where people are going to stop illegally crossing the border, ever? It’s never going to happen. No matter what any politician does. Deterrents don’t work. If they did illegal immigration wouldn’t exist today.

If peoples lives are so crappy that they feel risking the lives of themselves and their children is a better option than staying where they are, good luck trying to stop that. You’d have better luck sweeping leaves on a windy day.

If people really cared about stopping the amount of immigrants coming over the border they’d support abolishing the war on drugs. Which has turned most places south of the border into hell holes people will risk life and limb to escape from.

But that’s too much like right. It’s easier to demonize and dehumanize than to confront the actual problem.

the mental gymnastics are astounding... if you or anyone else goes to jail, regardless if its county jail, state prison, or federal prison...reguardless of whether its for sell drugs, murder or petty larceny your kids DO NOT GET TO GO WITH YOU. why do non-citizens get special treatment when they break the law.

If you actually gave 2 hoot about the kids: coming to this country illegally is incredibly dangerous. 5 illegals were just killed in a car chase with border patrol... if anything they should add an endangering the welfare of a child charge on top of the illegal entry charge.

they are putting children in harms way be trying to break the law. why on earth should they get special treatment?

OH! and look at that; they DO go to a holding shelter:

The Frontier asked Tulsa Police what their policy was regarding children of the arrested. They pointed us to their policy manual, which said: If children needed to be taken from the scene of an arrest, they would be transported to the Laura Dester shelter. That was about it.

It isn't a change in terms. There are asylum seekers among the illegals. They get caught and register for asylum and under certain asylum criteria we grant it to them. Under Trump they are being treated like illegals. Even at proper border crossing places.

Asylum Seeking Families, Too, Are Being Separated

An alternative is to take the names/ information from the "Asylum seekers" then take them and their kids and turn them back to Mexico to await processing of said information.

Lets see what facilities the Mexicans build to house the parents and children.

After All most are trying to escape countries south of Mexico - so Mexico to them should be head and heels better to stay in then the country they fled.

Once approved let the families in.

I would rather he put those kids up in those Posh living spaces with all those TVs pool tables, and video games with decent food, rather than turning them loose on the streets where they can, starve, be homeless, or get picked up by sex traffickers

But im sure youre fine with that, as long as we arent "separating them"

You guys are so hypocritical its ridiculous.

Plus many of these people arent even from Mexico, so if they WERE sent back, Mexico would boot them out of the country or lock them up, putting them in an even worse situation.

This kids are being taken care of better than they were back home, while their parents are processed, and you guys are STILL bitching.

I wonder how Jesus would approach this problem.

It is now a moral issue and not just a legal issue.

this is entirely different now because all children are now being separated at the border.

And they still keep coming.
So who's fault is that? Did the parents know what was going to happen? Yes.
Did they make the trip anyway? Yes
If you commit a crime while having your kids with you, what do you think happens while you're being processed? Think they just let the kids in to stay with Mommy and Daddy?
You can wring your hands and wail "TRUMP!!!" all you like, it doesn't change the fact the parents are responsible for where they and their kids are now.

Blame where blame is due.

By the way...If you're all for open borders, how many illegals will be living with you till they find a job and place of their own?

The #? Stop inventing insane narratives in your head and then attributing to my beliefs.

So treating them as less than human in the States is ok because they'd be executed, raped, or worse back in their place or origin? That's your argument?

Because thats just the new catch word being used now to rile up you left wing bleeding hearts and youre so damn dense you cant figure out they are doing the same thing they have been doing coming over the border since I was a kid, and that was a long time ago.

But no, you guys hear a new buzz word, then all the sudden its "for the children" and you get all worked up and shake your fists.

Never realizing youre just being fooled yet again, by another Catch Phrase

Is not a narrative, thats the options, release them on the street or send them back , where mexico will treat them far far worse or far worse can happen to them

Period

So treating them as less than human i

Since when is having 3 or more good meals a day, a safe place to sleep, and nearly every form of entertainment you can think of , being treated as less than human?

Talk about coming up with Narratives, take your own advice.

Better yet do some damn research on the conditions, they are living pretty damn good

Yup change the narrative and make it seems like anyone against illiagal immigrants hates children. You like the 2nd amendment you hate children etc. Just a distraction and new talking points.

Reminds me of that South Park episode where they guilt randy marsh if he doesn't donate a dollar for every purchase for children donations. "so you hate children?"

Hopefully we do get immigration reform from all the sudden outrage that's been happening for decades.
