Even so, the video images are not definitive proof that the jet pilots were chasing an actual UFO.

I'm pretty sure the Super Hornet's couldn't detect the object with radar. The video is a feed from the targeting pod tracking the target, not sure if the laser was used but that would be required to give distance.

Another video analysis. Of course, the range isn't known, and seems to only be a guess based on other parameters.



Also I find the sound in the video strange. In every other F/A-18 video I see, you can hear the pilot breathing through the mask. Also I can't explain it, but the way the pilots talk seems a bit strange?

This interview is talking to both aircrew from the same jet. They were the closest of the hornets to the object. This is the Pilot, on the left and the WSO on the right. They both eyeballed the object, they both saw something.

The WSO would be the one working the FLIR, while the pilot would be moving the aircraft. Some of the speculation is answered in this/these interviews. Sounds like they corroborated each other's version and saw something, with their eyeballs.

Not only through the FLIR or any other sensor, but saw it with their own eyes.

It's cool to be back in the flow of modern threads ... and what's better then a UFO related topic.

In recent weeks a significant number of UFOs have been spotted around Russia, as the aliens seem to be particularly interested in the upcoming elections in 12 days.

At the same time another team of aliens appear to be very much interested at the Huntington Ingalls dry docks in Newport News, Virginia. This appears to be very strange, as the only visible things in there are 2 literally sitting ducks.

Hehe... All that observation training comes to nothing in the face of the common pelican.

That's what you get when you cut budgets.

At least we know that most pelicans will be intercepted long before the mainland. No doubt a boon for the local fish population.

So I take it you are with the pelican crowd too, then?
I am not well versed in bird watching, but I would assume if the Navy (if this is another Navy video) was in the habit of chasing after birds someone would ask serious questions about budgets and so forth.

To be honest, I have no clue what that is, and neither has the Navy apparently, so I would have thought that such a video would at least garner some interest in this forum.

Is it because it apparently has no wings that it is met with such profound disinterest?
