Actually, the United States entered the WW2 when the Germans and British had essentially fought themselves to a stalemate of sorts....would the Germans have eventually conquered Britain? I don't know, but I doubt it, considering they were overextending themselves by fighting Russia as well (the mistake was made by Germany in WW1).

SST, you may wish to check out the works of Anthony Sutton. Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler would be a good place to start.

I like your point about the Bill of Rights and I do agree with your interpretation. Unfortunately, guns will not stop this behemoth. If the analogy of the current US to Rome is accepted, then one could say that the TV represents a Colosseum in every living room. Bread and Circus kept the Roman populace from knowing what their government was doing.

Hard to say if seeing people attacked by lions is more disgusting than American Idol, but then that's just me. :^)

All right, folks.. let's leave American Idol out of this!

Smallpeeps is correct in pointing the finger at the Wal Street/Hitler connection. What would all those Bush true believers think if they knew his family profited handsomely from the funding of Hitler's war machine? Congress actually had to step in and write legislation barring it. But hey - the world bankers' hands were drenched in blood long before that.

As for the 2nd ammendment conversation.. I agree with several comments made. (And I support the 2nd ammend., for the record) At this point, we the people would be hardpressed to be able to fight effectively against our federal government. It has become our founding father's greatest nightmare. Powerful beyond conception. Take a look at the concentration of military bases, for example, in the southeastern United States. And then try and imagine all the hardware, weapons & ammo buried in those hills at their disposal.

If a Revolution ever did break out and fighting began between gov. troops/police squads and citizens, there would be only one monkey wrench in the mix, that I can think of. How many of our troops would actually be compelled to fire on his/her citizens? How would they compel them to? What if all those whisperings are true about the blue helmuts already being here, waiting to take over that job? Most of our troops are overseas and not here, to begin with. Mutiny might not even be an issue.

The power of the US government against the citizenry is truly scary, when it comes to the issue of force. If all hell broke out, here's another scenario to ponder.. maybe the government, I mean.. bin Laden would just detonate a nuke or two somewhere in the US. The people would become so traumatized they would do exactly what they were told. (Think: quarantines, relocation camps)

Just a few thots..

note- The British had many members of its own Royal family sympathetic to the Nazis and not just becuase of German lineage.

American Corporations, wall Street, which ever, yes I think anyone on this site for a while knows the connections. However, that is history....

Anyone who does not like America can leave, or they can stay, it makes no difference to me as an American. It is the ones who are so righteous and then boot up that 2000 Dell pc they put on credit or drive the 9 mpg SUV to MCDonalds every night, not even leaving their truck.

I am 3rd generation Irish-American, and my ancestors here did not have it very good in Brooklyn, NY when they arrived. I wrote a few papers in college about the plight of the Irish Immigrant in American, but I do not ask for reparations or a pat on the back. I get up, go to work, and even though it sucks, I pay my taxes raise my kids and try to make a difference.

I do this with the knowledge that I will not hear car bombs and random gunfire all night from insurgents. I kiss my child and thank (insert your god or pagan here) each night that I live in America. What happened to all you patriots and your flags after 9/11? Where are you? Did you blame Bush 3 days after 9/11. No, you were scared, we all were, but we came together for the greater good of our nation. There was no Republican, Or Democrat, red or blue state, we were all Americans.

The USA is the most desired country to live in, here one can accomplish almost anything.......very unlike anywhere else. So if your so miserable and can stand living in America then leave.

I did. American by birth, I bailed in November 2001 - cuz I saw the writing on the wall. I love America - and I love Canada too - well, I love the world I do. ...But I am very concerned about what I see happening.

I have to give credit where it is due. EastCoastKId you did good on your post. It's starting to get tough for the ordainary person to go about his or her routine of their day without seeing some if not all of the topics you posted come true. I live in the Commonwealth of Va. Commonwealth is just a cleaver way of saying a communist state. To my best guess there are only seven in the U.S. which is seven too many. I can parrallel with your post in several ways. The one in which you mentioned about the child support is really a stupid one. The way they have it set up here is if you fall behind due to say..illness and youcan at the same time can prove it, it does'nt matter. They can take your drivers liscence and what does that do? It makes you unemployed. Good cure. I forgot to mention they could put you in jail too. After that, they slowly start screwing the cap down of the things you need in order to pay and get things done. Its hard to go to work where the public transportation does'nt go. I'd bet there is going to one day be one heck of a revelotion in the U.S. if the govt. does not give back to the people the rights they have so thoughtfully taken away. I am a realist and I can see this one coming from a long way off and it is not far away. People can only take so much repression without lashing out. Everything is set up by the Lawyers and their rich buddies which leaves you, me, and millions more in a pissed off place in the middle. I see this problem only getting worse in the time to come and I truley think it is not going to be peaceful.

No, Americans do not have to leave America. What we need to do is make sure that our government does not step over the rights and the well being of the American citizens after all we put them in power and they are not omnipotent.

The problem? the government has gotten so big and powerful looking that people has forgotten that the real power lies with the people and is letting the government become unlimited.

It has become our founding father's greatest nightmare. Powerful beyond conception.

Couldn't agree more.

In fact, Article 1, Section 8, paragraph 5 of The US Constitution says congress has the right "To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof"

It was Alexander Hamilton who cleverly proposed the Federal Bank which took this 'coining' right away from congress and therefore from the American people. All our ills descend from that point. Hamilton and his business partner Robert Morris organized the Bank of America. Some Americans were not willing to sell their nation to the Bank of America and therefore refused its charter. After Ben Franklin died in 1790, the international agents got their man Hamilton elected as Secretary of the Treasury and the BofA charter was granted. The argument that a congressional currency would be valueless in international trade was probably the biggest lie that still remains to this day.

If Americans wanted to, they could use the Constitution to throw off the money-scam and have a nation that they own themselves. As it is, they'd rather watch TV.

Great point

Also, the Constitution gives the power to declare war to the Congress. Since WW2 not a single armed conflict the U.S. has engaged in has been a declared war. Congress needs to reassert its Constitutional power.

Well said. Notice how the post-WW2 era also began the rise of the American Military Industrial Complex which Ike warned us about when he left office. He realized that the American war-machine which had helped defeat Hitler could easily be hijacked.

I am wondering if the Pentagon would allow Americans to take control of their Congress again. I am guessing the power of TV is too great for that to happen, but even if it did, we could be sure of a 'distraction' on American soil as ECK has theorized. The PNAC has the power now. They will drag us all into their new American Century regardless of what Congress says.

The FACT is with out the United States of America the world would fall into anarchy. Also it's amazing on how foreigners seem to be experts on America. You got good ole socialist Canada to the north making comments when they won't even allow other veiwpoints to be expressed, yet they don't realize that their voice is allowed to be heard in America regardless of what they have to say. The USA is the most desired country to live in, here one can accomplish almost anything.......very unlike anywhere else. So if your so miserable and can stand living in America then leave. And as far as our english brethren are concerned......you'd be living in a dramaticly different world and speaking German if it wasn't for us.

You are just in denial, i know its hard for for a american patriot to accept that there country is in fact not at all that great in almost every aspect, but the facts dont lie.
The truth is hard to swallow for alot of sheeple....but hey just chew it a litlle and lighten up about it. We all live in this grand illusion which is life

The only reason the US entered the War in Europe was because Hitler declared war on the US after the US declared War on Japan an Axis ally. Do you really think for one minute the US Congress would have voted to declare War on Germany after they had sat on their hands from the outset of the War, the one that started in 1939, if Hitler hadn't made it easy by commiting one of a long line of monumental errors i.e declaring War on the US when he could have sat back and shrugged his shoulders?
I think it would be safe to say that with a War in the Pacific and all the unknowns that would bring the Congress of the US would have continued to sit on its hands and fought the Japanese and not gone to War in Europe.
Where did you learn your modern history?

Post WWII American government has gotten big and powerful.
We need to be educated. The problem as I see it is schools are no longer teaching kids what they should know about the Constitution and Bill of Rights. We just had a thread about how kids don't think freedom of speech is important. Of course, now I can't find it to link here *sigh*

Whatever we are losing as citizens is largely being lost through apathy.

Yes, Germany declared war on the United States.....i was speaking of a hypothetical situation....to show that even if the U.S. had not entered the war, the British would have still been able to hold their own.

The US is an uncontrolable tyrant and it must be stopped BEFORE the US engage in armed conflict with China.... that is the FINAL stage of the NWO.

When armed conflict with China happens... it was be a WW3 complete with nukes.

I have no doubt Americans are dumb, delusioned and ignorant enough to fall for the propoganda BS that Iran needs a good bombing and kicking so I doubt we can stop that war but China...... DO NOT LET IT HAPPEN FOR GOD SAKE.

Any war with N.Korea will most likely end up with China involved and Russia since they formed there alliance.

Then all EU and UN participants will join America...... WORLD WAR 3 WITH NUKES I GURANTEE YA.

DO NOT LET IT HAPPEN.

The turning point is with the RUSSIANS. When the Germans fought the Russians, they were bogged down by the weather and the Russians fought all the way back to Berlin. The American part hardly mattered,Most of the German army was busy driving Stalin's forces back.

The US is not a tyrant that needs to be stopped. Why the hell would we go to war with China. If anything, the NWO is US/Russia/China. This would create a superpower with unlimited resources and cheap labor. I still find it strange that they are holding such a large joint exercise, I mean, I don't think either are to happy with NK right now either.
