Kim Jong Un backed down from his threat to attack Guam. Is this crisis really over? I don't think so.

I've seen nothing to indicate that the planned test on a submarine missile has been cancelled, esp. with today being a national holiday in North Korea.

An Australian news outlet reported less than an hour ago that satellites reveal preparations for a possible mobile missile launch:

Officials have told US media that satellites have observed DPRK mobile missile launcher movement, indicating an intermediate-ballistic missile may be being prepared as part of North Korea’s holiday celebrations.

The move comes as the United States and South Korea plan to start annual defensive military drills that the North asserts are a severe provocation and a possible preparation for invasion.

But South Kora’s Yonhap News Agency says President Moon told a gathering he will prevent war in Korea “at all costs”.

This excerpt, btw, is buried towards the middle of the report, part of which also discussed Kim's decision to back off the attack on Guam. We're getting conflicting information imho and I wish the media would get it right.

So two different missile tests are being prepped by NK - submarine-based and mobile.

Even though the supposed attack on Guam has been called off.

Kim's words don't agree with his actions.

It's been reported that he pulled a disappearing act again:

North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has vanished from the public eye for two weeks, South Korean media reported, prompting fears that he may be preparing to mark Tuesday’s public holiday by firing a new rocket.

The last time Kim went days without being seen was prior to the ICBM launch in late July, when he remained incognito for two weeks before making his grandiose public appearance.

His public withdrawal comes as nuclear tensions mount between Washington and Pyongyang, and on the heels of the leader’s threat to attack the U.S. island territory of Guam. On Tuesday, North Korea is set to commemorate the Korean Peninsula’s liberation from Japan at the end of World War II.

We need to determine just what Kim's intentions are and nip his wmd plans in the bud. One threat that the mainstream media conveniently forgets to talk about is the emp threat from his satellites. Check out this clip from Alex Jones:

We need to neutralize this threat once and for all before Kim decides to 100 percent lose it and take everyone else out along with him.

Why not shoot those satellites of his out of the sky?

That would be a good start.

Is there anyone else here at ATS besides me who thinks this is far from over?

Gee, I never knew there was a crisis, I thought two boastful guys were just throwing insults at each other and playing with fireworks.

No, I don't believe it is. I can't say why I feel that way, I just do. Usually I think the little short sawed off nutjob is just that, a nutjob, but this time I think he may be serious. We severely underestimated his ability to make these missiles, and Trump will continue to run his mouth.

This is why there might be a crisis. Seriously? You want WW3? You want a lot of innocent people to die?

North Korea kept saying, like they have been for ages, that they'd retaliate if anyone messes with them. We, the US, started saying the same thing. Both sides threatened the other that we would retaliate if the other side took action.

So they both cooled down and neither acted. Thus preventing a terrible war.

And you want to make it happen by attacking them? That's messed up...

Nah, the Korean Crisis is just on hold while the MSM tells us we should all hate each other because of race.

Give it a couple of weeks and we will once again be in imminent danger of a full scale nuclear attack capable of wiping out all life on Earth.

Provided Global Warming doesn't kill all life on Earth first. Sometimes it's hard to keep track of what we should fear or hate the most at any given moment. Thank God the MSM is there to keep us on track.

I think the enemy cycle goes: North Korea, Iran, Russia, with little interludes of ourselves, diseases and sometimes weather. Wash, rinse, repeat.

My money's on Iran being up to bat next.

Is it over probably not, should we be worried? Probably not.

If history serves to teach us anything NK will always be up to something loud and brash with little to no plans for follow through.

More concerning would be the United States escalating based on threats and saber rattling. While little K is a loud mouth (like father like son) his military might as a stand alone country is negligible if he were to gather ligetiment support from China or Russia then I might get worried. As in a pact outright stating that if they were to go to war they would be supplied and backed up 100% by either of said nations. This will not happen due to his loud mouth and brash nature he is to much of a wild card for any nation to outright support.

And as far as Alex Jones goes.....smh... Wouldn't trust him to tell me much of anything he gets more clicks and ad revenue from doom porn than you or I could fathom.

Seems to me I just saw a headline today about an Iranian drone flying over a US warship.

Premature aviation

If what I read from the MSM is true, whoever lobs one first is on China's list.

But who knows? They might just decide we're not worth it anymore.

Over???

Far From it. This the first highly political N. Korean situation, involving so many Countries since the division of the Korean Peninsula into North and South.

This game is just beginning...

A distraction from what ?
Who would he be distracting ? Or attempting to ?
Why would he be distracting ?
Easy to type a single sentence into an empty box .

LOL, that is a start. I would move to using the Office of the President to purposefully increase financial holdings and for no other reason. Leasing space from the US government to increase income. Working on behalf of foreign operators to reduce debt.

That is just where I start. An expert will do 1000x more with this.
