I don't have enough information.

Either about the veracity of Montgomery's claims or about the reports that Nunes has been talking about.

Then why the thread? Isn't being a scientist all about having the information, not dealing in speculation?

What compels you of all people to create a thread on a topic in which you lack the necessary information? Were you triggered?

Because the original article indicated that Nunes had provided new information.

There's only one executive branch. That would be trump.
Which one.. scoffs

Which of the 4 million people employed by the Executive Branch gave him the information? Which of the 4 million people employed by the executive branch had access to the information?

We don't know because some members of the executive branch couldn't say for sure how many would have access and how many had the authority to unmask names.

How many of the 4 million people employed by the EB are Obama hires with access and authority? How many are Trump hires? Bush hires?

Yes.... An article. You know an article doesn't denote some inherent truth. Given the source, it has a 50/50 chance of being accurate ( that's being generous and I'm not a scientist). I'm not trying to make this about you, I'm just trying to understand what you're going on about.

Yesterday you acknowledged CNN as being a little hokey by comparing my thoughts on CNN's lack of integrity to FOX's reporting. Which I agreed. So here you are creating a political thread based on a CNN report?

I just don't understand.

I'm not going on about it. I am responding to you. Would you rather I not? That could be arranged.

Rep. Jackie Speiers, also on Intelligence Committee, has said "Nunes has gone Rogue". ( I don't think she meant it as a compliment.)

People have lost confidence in him. That dog won't hunt.

Yeah that sounds a lot more like it.

If Nunes could only say the same thing twice in a row he might not sound so much like someone who can't remember his lines.
You don't have to hem and haw your way through the truth. You just state it.

THE THING IS.... this committee is supposed to be investigating allegations of RUSSIA's Interference with our election, and possible collusion of some campaign members.

This is nothing but another diversion. A diversion that shows Nunes is not suited to lead this investigation. He's too sidetracked with what seems to be protecting Trump.

Even news sources seem to have forgotten the original intention. All they can talk about is Nunes and Trump. Anything but Russia and Collusion.

Yes and they haven't found anything and are simply being watchdogs hoping for a miscalculation to exploit. So the fbi and nsa just let the russians influence the election and allowed trump to become president while knowing the russians influenced our election? Lol. Comey stated russia didnt give information to wikileaks, the dnc leaks and the awan brothers, crowdstrike being used instead of fbi.

I get why dems dont want nunes to head the committee however they just want everyone to stepdown from the investigation except themselves. I think the dems need to step down from the leak investigation or recuse themselves "see how dumb this sounds". Why would they be afraid? The AG recused himself from the russian investigation which was a trump pick! Why would they ask this? Funny thing is if this didn't pertain to the russian investigation he can rule on it muahahahahaha seems they are in a sticky situation here

Read that as, "Uh-oh, we have a truth seeking patriot on the loose!"

Contraire. It appears Nunes Dawg IS on the hunt and the critters are scurrying.

What? Jeff Sessions recused himself because he either lied or mislead Congress during his Confirmation Hearings.
Remember?

And the Dems aren't asking to be the only ones doing the investigation. They are asking for an Independent Investigation.
Of course, I don't trust anybody anymore, and would recommend Scotland Yard do it. Or the Canadians. Or the Australians. Anybody who is not connected to Washington politics.

The dems are getting nervous, IMO.

Here's Trey Gowdy's take. I'm starting to like this guy more and more.

Your comments are what is typically called a "positive reframe", Mr. Gut. But in this case I think we can call it "wishful thinking".
