Are there any mods you know of that would admit to supporting Trump?[/post]

Yo.

My posting history openly "admits" that Trump is my candidate.

If there's one thing about the Staff that you can take away from this, is that we are a microcosm of the world. None of us agree on anything, other than how to run the site and follow the T&C.

Otherwise, you could not find a more diverse staff in religion, race, sexual orientation, political leanings, etc

And kudos to the owners and staff for promoting this diversity. In my opinion, this is what makes ATS staff so great.

And you have every right to that opinion.

Thank you all for your responses reading them has been a great help.

To the person that asked me why it matters. It matters to me because I have seen a great deal of political bias lately from where there ought to be neutrality and not just in the MSM and it both disgusts and unsettles me.

Bias is entirely subjective, and in the eye of the beholder.

Especially if you are told there is bias, and believe it.

Ah good.

I like asking questions that make things matter.

Why does it matter now?

It doesn't and never did. I just wanted to steer your post...

I would say the perception of bias is in the eye of the beholder, or, dare I say it, a disinterested observer.

Personally, I prefer game cuts, but when it comes to beef, I go for the aged tenderloin (medium rare).

The fact that Burdman30ott6 and I are both on staff should really be enough to demonstrate the diversity of staff - and also to show the irrational emphasis currently being rhetorically implicated into these issues by media.

Burd and I don't agree on many things at all and we debate constantly. But - at the end of the day - we could easily sit and talk over beers with mutual respect for one another.

Nothing to steer.

Being a Brit, I've got no dog in the fight, other than to wonder what the hell folks in the USA have in their water that got them into having the two candidates on show as the leading figures of their political parties.

One is an idiot, the other is a gangster.

Then there are steering committees, which are also rather bullish.

The fact that you and Best in Show are not removing each others posts does seem to bear out the assertions regarding mods not moding the threads they participate in. a reply to: neformore

The reality is that most of us could sit down over drinks and discuss our opinions ... even passionately ... the internet brings a certain distance that motivates extremism, which results in things like the T&C being put in place to promote some level of decorum and fact-based discourse.

IMO anyway.

Wow, what timing...

I was just about to remove masqua's off topic posts and leave mine up, but you dropped that on us, so I will take no action this time.

No posts warrant removal under the T&C, so why would they be removed?

This is a discussion board, people are having a discussion.

You seem to want to try and make some kind of point?
