Another one of those accidental discovery's, but it does explain a lot of late regarding some peoples behavior.

www.independent.co.uk...

A virus that infects human brains and makes us more stupid has been discovered, according to scientists in the US.

The algae virus, never before observed in healthy people, was found to affect cognitive functions including visual processing and spatial awareness.

I'm thinking that this could almost be perceived as a Pandemic considering the numbers of people involved in the study who tested positive.

Of the 90 participants in the study, 40 tested positive for the algae virus. Those who tested positive performed worse on tests designed to measure the speed and accuracy of visual processing. They also achieved lower scores in tasks designed to measure attention.

But now people can say, "Hey, I'm only stupid because I have a virus!" And they very well be right.

This does explain some stuff I guess .. The problem is that we might have a global pandemic on our hands and we do not even know about it .. I think WHO should be contacted immediately, maybe there is still time for some kind of vaccine

Hmmm....I blame it on my being still on my first cup of coffee.

Maybe that's the antidote?

But thanks and I fixed it, but it is a good thing to provide the link isn't it.

I wonder if this is somehow related to A.D.D. & A.D.H.D.?
Attention Deficit Disorder sure seems more prevalent.

Don't be giving people ideas. That is if they could remember them.

Stupid is a dumb word.

Better one is ignorance.

Which is basically less aware.

We can all use some more of that.

Is their a smart pill? Ahhh…

Take two of these and call me in the morning.

I think a couple of beers do more harm than Chlorovirus ATCV-1

I saw the wall of text and decided i had the virus and lack the attention to read the paper, instead i decided to

I like this, the bigest diference between having the virus or not was 8 points, standard desviation 11... Yep very definitive evidence

Well, it's simple really. The Y-axis is perpetually in conflict with the one way ANOVA, but the prepulse-pulse combinations are in love and want no part of it. And the impaired PPI just don't care.

Does that make sense?

Back at ya!

I was going to comment on that newspaper story, but the ads on that site mean it would take till Christmas to get to the bottom of the page.
So I cancel my previous comments.
