I don't know about most of you on here, but I really have grown a serious love/hate relationship with this nation I live in... So many great things this country has to offer wiped away by a few with crazy agendas... Just sad how a few can literally ruin it for all the masses... The best part is that I can lay my head on my pillow at night knowing that I never voted for Obama... I can't help but feel for those who not only voted for him once, but twice... Talk about swinging and missing....

Huh? I am afraid I have no idea what you are trying to say there. No idea whose side you are on or what you stand for but, in the interest of civil discourse, I am going to thank you for the reply anyway! When these politicians are not in Washington wasting everyone's time, their lazy arses are on vacation or paid leave. It's sickening. Throw the bums out.

I get on my knees and pray for his safety every day. No president is perfect but few have gotten us into such a filthy, disgusting, freedom stealing mess as GWB and his gang of thieves. My Obama sticker is proudly on my bumper and I get high fives from the people I see in traffic. I seriously do not know how any Republican or Conservative today can even sleep let alone sleep soundly. You must be neither of those with their pro-corporate, anti-human agenda. At least that is something to be thankful for.

I'm a moderate, and I know the Bush administration had their issues, but why is it that whenever Obama's administration is attacked for the job they're doing Obama apologists resort to bringing up the Bush terms? Just because one president had a questionable time in office, doesn't give the next president in line free reign to do whatever the hell they want. I honestly don't know how you can use the words Obama and Proud in the same sentence... Obama is everything what's wrong with this country right now and he is doing everything in his power to cover his own ass... This is the leader you like and respect?

And I respect that but comparing the Bush administration to the Obama administration is not simply a matter of comparing apples to oranges. It is much more along the lines of comparing apples to hand grenades. Not even close in the sheer amount of damage and lives LOST because of mistakes, errors in judgement, basic philosophy and yes, I think even diabolical, deliberate intention.

In a nutshell, Lovea-- there's all too much going on now that's
all wrong in DC for it to be an accident at all.

When the obvious loss of critical evidence is through a series of
'errors'; made by people who are paid money to safeguard that
evidence-- my inclination is to throw all the bums out too.

This operetta is totally out of control.
We're talking about an approval rating now for Congress
that's starting to make zombiefied Abbott and Costello cloned
267 1/2 times look good... And Harry Reid gets the HALFA.....
FIIiiirrrrrspt.

I must sleep soon; or at least fitfully vibrate for some interval.

Well, damage and lives lost is all relative to what's going on in the world. After 9/11, the American masses were furious and out for blood, which led to Afghanistan/Iraq. Now, put Obama in that same situation and who knows, maybe it would have been better, maybe it would have been worse, we will never know. Bush's presidency was anything but simple and you could say it was extremely convoluted almost from the get go. I understand that when blood spills and lives are lost we tend to look at those times of history first, but people can't ignore or downplay the things Obama has done in his 2 terms in office. His whole act was built on bringing "Hope and Change" when running... Do you see any hope or change? I don't see any hope and the only change I see is negative change. I wish our President's delivered more than they failed, but recent history shows that the job may be a no-win job to take on.

No, that would be dumb. It's not meant to pass. It's meant to bring attention to the problem.

Pretty much says everything that needs to be said about what a joke government has become.

LOL

Here's what I would do about the IRS. "Mr. Koskinen, we have asked for certain documentation and have waited patiently. Our patience is at an end. All funding for your agency is suspended until all (and I mean all) of the documentation is produced. It is recommended you inform your staff immediately. ... ... ... Sir ... why are you still sitting here? Do you not understand the word immediately? Do you not understand that when I use the word 'recommend' that's just a really nice way of telling you what you will do?"

The hypocrisy has grown so large it will soon swallow us!

For instance, not only do we pay tax on our wages, but my husbands family business is required to pay on estimated FUTURE income, leaving them short of money to pay the workers. I wonder how many have lost their business due to this sick practice!

The quarterly tax not only is paid before the money is earned but there is a time to the hour it must arrive to the IRS or you are fined hundreds of dollars even if minuets late!

Now suppose you are owed return money from the IRS and it is late, how much do they give you in interest? Do they pay us a fine when we are over charged?

The entire reason we are in this mess is because we are divided...and no that doesn't mean libs should go conservative or vice versa. It means that we need to stand united as a whole country and demand our rights be acknowledged...it means we need to stand united in what we need from our elected officials and hold them to their oaths regardless of wether it fits our agenda this time or not. Remember that next time you try to back up a leader who has none of our interests in mind. Your post is a beacon of whats wrong here. Its completely divisive and based in blind ideology. Please take these points into consideration and lets learn to stand united because divided we fall.

The 95% chose to support the beast and feed the beast. The 95% really have no excuse to say the IRS can't have a double-standard when that is in fact double-standards are foundation of the US government. The IRS justice system is based on guilty until proven innocent... an obvious assault on personal liberties and blatant violation of basic rights. The fact that people put up with it at all shows that the US is not a free country at all... in addition to many other things that make the concept of freedom somewhat of a joke in America.

And, the whole foundation of modern government is a double standard ticket to commit any crime and get away with it. The government can do anything under the sun and it is doing no wrong. When you lie to Uncle Sam its perjury. When Uncle Sam lies to you its "national security". When you take Uncle Sam's stuff without permission its theft. When Uncle Sam does it to you its "taxes". When you preemptively kill someone because they threatened you its murder. When Uncle Sam preemtively kills you its "a casualty of war". So yes, Uncle Sam can lie, steal, cheat, and kill. And that is fine according to MOST Americans. So ultimately you can't really blame the government when the people by and large support what they do.

I'm in the 5% who believe that taking property without permission is ALWAYS stealing.
