Of course, there is absolutely NO conflict of interest here, whatsoever! Nawww..... Why would we ever get such a crazy idea as that?

The youngest son of U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, has been appointed head of legal affairs at Ukraine's largest private gas producer — a move he said would benefit Ukrainians and the country's economy.

In a statement published Monday on its website, Burisma Holdings announced Hunter Biden would join its board of directors and head the company's legal unit.

"As a new member of the board, I believe that my assistance in consulting the company on matters of transparency, corporate governance and responsibility, international expansion and other priorities will contribute to the economy and benefit the people of Ukraine," Hunter Biden said in the statement.

Remember when they at least tried to keep up appearances? Look at the picture that goes with it. Partners in crime...and they're so blatant about it, they almost expect a cookie for their efforts it seems.

(sigh)

Some days, it's so sad it's beyond crying. It's just the ride to the bottom we're seeing. A ride hastened by deep corruption and lack of character to such a profound degree, we can feel lucky if we get an honest answer on the time of day out of any of them at this point.

They wanted Ukraine as a conquest and damn the fact real human beings happen to live there and may NOT have wanted a civil war over the top of them. Who cares tho...eh? Let the little people "adjust" because the big scumbags have no time to accommodate "average".

I am so glad you posted this Wrabbit!!!!

I saw it earlier and all I could think of when I saw the picture was "Look at the Devil in the Middle"!

I guess I am just trying to say, "It shows how there really isn't much of a difference in the two party system, when money is involved!"!!!

At any costs?

"Starting June 1, we will halt the work of those stations on Russian territory,” Rogozin said.

“Under this agreement there are 11 GPS stations on the territories of 10 [Russian federal] subjects,” he said.

The US relies on Russian-made RD-180 and NK-33 engines to launch military and civilian satellites into space, with NASA saying it’s unlikely to produce a fully operational rocket engine of its own before 2020.

“We currently project that we’ll require the ISS until 2020,” he said. “We need to understand how much profit we’re making by using the station, calculate all the expenses and depending on the results decide what to do next.”

Previously, the US space agency, NASA, had asked Russia’s Roscosmos to keep the ISS in orbit till 2024.

“We won’t be first to adopt sanctions, especially in the high-tech area. For us it is a matter of employment of our specialists,” he said.

He's providing assistance IE "working for them" he has bought out the company and now the sole owner for Christ sakes

The US is providing all sorts of assistance to Ukraine providing and appointing skilled professionals to Ukraine and without it Russia would be half way to Kiev

There are many EU & US experts advising Ukraine for "stability" and "security"

Is this really such a big conspiracy and crime?

Or is it yet another attempt to support the coup conspiracy?

Ukraine's interim government would do just about anything to wind Putin up

When a blood relative to the U.S. Vice President takes a prominent position in a nation we've alternatively claimed credit for helping while denying we had anything to do with changing? Oh yeah. It's a pretty big ethical thing.

Ethics are something the current leaders on both sides can barely spell, let alone comprehend as a working concept. I mean, really...The whole situation here is fluid and about acting while pretending not to act too much. A big ballet, considering how deeply American funding was in making this whole thing happen.

Now, while it's still very much ONGOING for unrest and no clear outcome can yet be seen, we enter the son of the #2nd most powerful leader in the U.S., to take a position with the largest gas company in Ukraine.

Sure.. Nothing to see here. Move on now, we're told. Normal business..and why would we ever suspect otherwise?

He says -

Yeah that's exactly what Russia wants to hear..I'm almost on the verge of being convinced that our leaders are trying to start a world war.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not giving Russia a pass either, they injected themselves into this equally with the annexation of Crimea.. but Ukraine needs to be rid of both sides...TPTB will never ever let that happen. How can anything less than a civil war or possibly world war not emerge from this?

ETA - and yes, they are making U.S. involvement blatantly obvious now. There is no excuse for this, totally careless and irresponsible.

Wow. They are so confident that all of us are blind that they flaunt it in front of us. I bet most people would say, oh what a good job he got....how lucky for him.

Don't be worried that billions of our tax dollars will be used to keep Ukraine on our side, one of our predominant citizens has a job there. Yup, I would definitely say conflict of interest. Even McCain has a big smile on his face.

Biden is not doing anything different than Reid did with his son, setting him up with political and financial connections with top corporations in China.

The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree.

This should be made illegal...the selling out of American workers and companies.

say who is Obama's energy czar anyway?

Yet another Clintonite has been wheeled out of the political morgue to serve in the Obama administration. Carol Browner, a neon-green radical who headed the Environmental Protection Agency from 1993-2000, is widely rumored to be the president-elect's choice for "energy czar." But an ethical cloud still hangs over Browner's EPA legacy. It doesn't take a team of Ivy League lawyers to figure out that this is one more headache the Hope and Change crew doesn't need.

In the spirit of reaching across the aisle, let me dust off the cobwebs and help out all the smarty-pants vetters on the Obama team with a little background on Browner's stained past:

On her last day in office, nearly eight years ago, Browner oversaw the destruction of agency computer files in brazen violation of a federal judge's order requiring the agency to preserve its records. This from a public official who bragged about her tenure: "One of the things I'm the proudest of at EPA is the work we've done to expand the public's right to know."
townhall.com...

yep, better dead then red

ets

Incredibly, Browner asserted that there was no work-related material on her work computer

from the above link....
yup, looks like its not just Ukraine thats screwed

We are being played, we have always been played.

The problem is they are getting lazy about hiding it from us.

Haliburton/ Cheney.

Just change the names, and repeat.

Wow talk about arrogance! All I have to say is that I can not believe how blunt this has gotten. I have been following multiple threads on this whole Ukraine situation and find the Russophobia to laughable. It is painfully clear that corporate interests are at the heart of the civil war going on in Ukraine and this I suppose could be considered your smoking gun.

I look forward to the fascists in America being held accountable for all they have gotten away with. Sadly I think they will have to push my fellow Americans a bit further before we see them reined in. I mean the writing is on the wall, is it really going to take Martial Law to wake people up, I hope not.

Do not forget to pay attention to Syria, for you can get multiple glimpses of the way this funding democracy through NGO's work.

Sweetheart! (and I don't mean that in a sexist way, I really do think you are a sweetheart
) Coming from a son of a steel mill worker we can take this all the way back to slick Willy and Nafta!

But yea, it should be "treason" (my words) for ANY politician to sell out their own citizens!

Exactly right!

I don't understand how some people on ATS who are usually on the side of liberty, freedom and self-determination can resent the same rights for the Ukrainian people.

Anyone who buys into the propaganda, or supports the agenda of ANY one side in this infowar - is an enemy of the Ukrainian people!

I'd give you 50 independent Stars If I could!
