This is nutz!!

Some New York City firefighters booed and hissed city officials including AG Letitia James at a New York City Fire Department (FDNY) promotion ceremony.

Now it seems the offending firefighters are being "asked" to report for re-education !!!!

Can anybody confirm this??

Maybe it's a Democrat PR setup and the "offenders" may not even be firefighters, or they are paid agitators.

Confirmation needed!!!!

FDNY Is Hunting Down Firefighters Who Booed Letitia James to be 'Educated'

New York Attorney General Letitia James showed up at a New York City Fire Department promotion ceremony on Thursday and found out just how her obsessive Captain-Ahab-esque persecution of Donald Trump resonated with the workforce. The diverse crowd gathered at the Christian Cultural Center’s Brooklyn Campus to recognise the promotion of 65 uniformed members, 29 members of the Bureau of Fire Prevention, and 34 civilian employees.

The Boo Bird was free to fly.

James spoke against a backdrop of the chant of TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP1.
According to documents leaked to the @ViralNewsNYC account, the FDNY is about to engage in retribution against all those who booed or heckled James.

Letitia James booed in speech to NYC firefighters

New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) faced roaring boos and chants for “Trump” on Thursday as she delivered a speech at a New York City Fire Department (FDNY) promotion ceremony.

As James walked up to the podium, some people in the crowd clapped and others booed. The booing grew louder, prompting James to address the matter before beginning her official remarks.

“Oh, come on. We’re in our house of God,” James said to the crowd as they heckled her.

“First,” James said, trying to begin her remarks. She paused and appeared to be waiting for the booing to subside.

“Simmer down. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for getting it out of your system.”

🤣

If they are dumb enough to round them up and punish them that will be a massive law suit.

It will also probably result in more of an exodus, and they cant afford that.

Ahhhhhhhh, the fresh aroma of oppression. Smells like:

Unitary one-party socialist republic under a totalitarian hereditary dictatorship

AKA North Korea.

If this isn't met with some serious pushback, I'll be more scared than I was yesterday. Whoda thought the USA could fall so easily and completely.

It’s never a good idea to come after us firemen. We work 24 on 48 off which gives us 48 hours to work against political opponents like this. Or just jack with them in general.

In my neck of the woods we have local pac money, but more importantly time to go door to door and put signs in yards for department friendly leaders.

I for one hate that we have to do these things, but it’s the only way to insure our pension funds aren’t cut or raided

Bad idea to even bring these things to light on their part.

Letitia James is trying to financially ruin one of America's best Presidents, just as she campaigned to do.

Why be a public servant (firefighter, police officer, Nurse, etc.) in a state filled with morons who elected a stupid hate-filled imbecile, like Letitia James?

NYC politicians must really loathe their constituents and their views on everyone else is no better. Why would anyone choose to live in NYC these days? The DA's won't prosecute actual criminals but will bring the hammer down on anyone that has to defend themselves from those very criminals. That's not even getting into the whole national guard fiasco in the subway! Congestion pricing to punish you for driving into certain areas because they have mismanaged the MTA. James is too busy chasing headlines and needs to be smacked down a few pegs. This could be just the beginning of the blowback for her. Going after the firemen for booing her will just add to her trouble. So she should double down so we can watch the fun!

General Milley is the key to all of it. He postponed communication to the POTUS on 1/6 regarding troops. Hours.

Steven Sund, who stepped down on 1/8, He has done 4 inangurations and was key in creating the DHS National Response Outlines to follow. He instructed USSS. He taught about the incident Command System at GWU.

He knew his #. He requested troops ON 1/6 and was denied.

Sund asked for troops also on 1/3 and was denied stating it was bad optics.

In 2023 he argued that intelligence officials were responsible for the Capitol attack, and that they had neglected to properly share warnings about the potential of the event becoming violent.

There was never an insurrection.

Does not matter one bit. They have every right to an opinion that she is a creep. You do too, but you choose to protect creeps on ATS.

I’m no fan of hers, but actually it kind of does matter if they were in uniform. Being retired military we are briefed on this exact kind of thing. You represent the uniform and its associated organization. You DO NOT bring discredit to it.

Yes, that was my point.

Nothing to do with personal likes or dislikes.

I guess it is all right to boo Republicans in NY but not Democrats or Liberals. The job of those fire fighters is more important than that woman's job is in my mind. I think people who provide necessary services for the people should be respected, and I do not believe that that woman's job is as important as the people who fight fires.

It is not just her job, lots of people who work necessary jobs in our society are not respected while the big shots who just seem to spread BS want all the respect.

The AG was using them for a photop

They used the AG for a photop

Sounds like they are even; so what's the big deal?

If this hack of diversity hire wanted to get an applause, she shouldn't have spoken in front of men in nyc that actually do manual labor.

Speak in front of a bunch of Human Resource directors instead. They relate to her.

My Dad was FDNY for 26 years.

Normally I'd say no, they weren't in uniform as most guys rarely wear the dress blues. However, since this was an FDNY promotion ceremony, at least some of them may have been. Maybe all of them.

If so, some asses will be roasted as you better be on your best behavior while in uniform since everything you do reflects on the Department.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I share the sentiment however it's clear that her position comes with history influencing power, and she's following the plan that is handed down to her to a T....

She has done her part to bolster support for Trump.

I'm up for a $500 bet I'm saying: Trump will be the next president of the United States of America.

@DTOM could provide escrow if the following terms are acceptable.

The winner donates the profit for the end of days party when ATS shuts down to the Mods and they have to produce a final thread with pics of the gathering, faces blurred out of course.

It is kind of the Golden Rule -- when wearing a uniform.

It was very childish behavior in my opinion -- if they were in uniform.

If my house was on fire and I had a Biden sticker in my window -- am I supposed to feel safe?

Isn't the NY Fire Dept paid through taxes?
