Suicide Bomb Teams Sent to U.S., Europe

Large teams of newly trained suicide bombers are being sent to the United States and Europe, according to evidence contained on a new videotape obtained by the Blotter on ABCNews.com.

Teams assigned to carry out attacks in the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Germany were introduced at an al Qaeda/Taliban training camp graduation ceremony held June 9.

What do people make of this? To me, it says that the problem of Islamic extremism (Disclaimer: NOT all of Islam is extremist) is not in check, no matter what politician or group says otherwise.

Thats why we killed Mansoor Dadullah, because he helped create these suicide bombers. Luckily he died before he was be able to see any of the attacks come to being.

With all the bombs being strapped under a jacket going off everyday in iraq, it stands to reason they will make their way to us cities.

The reaction in America will be incredible. The DC sniper caused the people to stay inside for fear of being shot.

The reaction in the entire country will throw us into martial law with in 1 week if not less.
People will no go to work, industry will shut down. The airports will close, schools will close and the economy will fail.

Actually what I wonder is if any of the congress and president of the US are paying attention to this. It has been stated for the longest while that they need to secure the borders and have been stalling. If this actually happens look to see how fast things get done in the US and the back lash will not be pretty for any on either side of the border or for the US.

What's the big surprise here? Its not like you didn't see it coming. There is no way to control potential events such as this from unfolding. Honestly I'm more confused as to why it hasn't happened sooner.

Ummm No. Martial law? I don't think so.
Even 20 or 40 teams spread out wouldn't shut us down. All it would do would be to make life very uncomfortable for many Muslims and most Arabic people in the West. Remember we interred Japanese, Italians and Germans during WWII, you could just forget any travel to the US by Muslims if they use suicide bombers. Americans kill more Americans in a week than Muslim Suicide bombers would.

as pavil said why send people when americans kill more of their bredrin in gun crime and so on, what was it 3x9/11 every year which account for people being shot. these fanatics just need sit by and let nature take its course in the US ,

Heh! Why??? The Nazi's bombed England for months on end....it rained bombs! But it didn't shut the country down. Surely, americans are more resilient than that - aren't they???

We've all known that this was coming. I have just one concern. Will American politicians exploit terrorism? The answer seems almost certainly, "yes."

I'm not the only one who has suggested that this would be in our near future. I've found old stuff on ATS that predates my arrive here by two years. When it hits, this wave of terrorism will test our mettle in ways that we haven't experienced since the days of the Civil War (1861-1865). Now, mor thn ever, our leaders should stop telling us to be afraid and compliant. If we're going to survive this dark period in our history, we'll needto be observant and brave.

Excuse me for being unimpressed, didn't look like many teams to me. All Arab/Afgani men from the look of it. That will be real hard to spot.

All they will do is irk people into hating them even more. But then, that's what they probably want.

I am suprised we didn't just drop some Hellfires on them from a Predator to celebrate their graduation.

The thought that border control could prevent suicide bombers/terrorists from entering the country, planing, and carrying out attacks is silly.

Does anyone know how many thousands of miles of border, and coast lines surround the continental U.S.A.?

Does anyone honestly believe we could ever effectively control that much territory?

If they want in, they will get in!

I had my suspicions.

I've only been here for about 15 months, and I've been speculating in one form or another that this was coming at or near the 2008 election cycle. It's the most dark and sinister thing I can think of short of a coupe in Washington D.C. We are in for a national "test" that will go far beyond anything we've ever known.

As afraid as I am, I can't help but think that we still have some choices. those choices are important. they'll determine whether the next ten years is hard, or totally nasty. Our leaders have been too short-sighted for far too long. We're going to hit this iceberg, no matter what we do. We can hit it head on, or we can choose to take the glancing blow. Everyone knows what happened to the Titanic, so the metaphor is not out of line.

It is my sincere hope that we meet this crisis head on. To do that, we've got to understand each other's fears. We've got to understand what's happeing to us, and how we're going to beat it. We face enemies at home and over seas. There's not getting around that. Embrace your fear. Accept the support offered by those around you,. and decide for yourself what you will say, how you will vote, and what you will do with your time and money. Who knows? If enough people follow your example, you could start something.

Well it would certainly look as though an EFFORT is being made to protect our country, wouldnt you agree??? Letting people with Tuberculosis slip in, etc?

Nice point Pavil. Like you said anybody here in the US whom appears to be of middle eastern descent would be in bad shape. Think LA race riots. If the US begins getting suicide bombers and they start blowing themselves up, all people who appear to be "muslim/middle eastern" would be in big trouble. It could be a scary scene for many innocent people of many different colors for many different reasons. Keep your eyes peeled.

Actually the news point out that given the fact that the news were invited and allow to tape the entire ceremony this could be nothing more than propaganda.

Actually many of the so call young graduates were seen in the video without covering their faces, quite odd taking into consideration that the video will be scrutinized by the US intelligence and that the faces of the ones caught without covering will end up as in poster boards and easily identified as potential terrorist in the look out.
