DOHA, Qatar (CNN) -- Islamic militant leader Osama bin Laden, the man the United States considers the prime suspect in last week's terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, denied any role Sunday in the actions believed to have killed thousands.

In a statement issued to the Arabic satellite channel Al Jazeera, based in Qatar, bin Laden said, "The U.S. government has consistently blamed me for being behind every occasion its enemies attack it.

"I would like to assure the world that I did not plan the recent attacks, which seems to have been planned by people for personal reasons," bin Laden's statement said.

"I have been living in the Islamic emirate of Afghanistan and following its leaders' rules. The current leader does not allow me to exercise such operations," bin Laden said.

Asked Sunday if he believed bin Laden's denial, President Bush said, "No question he is the prime suspect. No question about that."

archives.cnn.com...

I found this goodie while googling earlier.

Who do you believe now more? Bush or Bin Laden? Bin Laden says he would never do something like that on a large scale... but even still he denies doing it.

I'm not saying that what Osama said after that is false about claiming responsibility for the attack... but it makes you wonder-- why did he retract his statements?

Why did he later contradict himself with what he said here?

Doesn't it sound odd that he would turn into a raving psychopath a few days later?

He only retracted his statements if you believe what his big fat double said on that video which the Americans toted as his admission of guilt. The guy doesn't look anything like Osama.

I also know that Osama does not have the power to make Norad stand down. After maintaining a 100% track record on interceptions, all with less than a 15 minute time frame, they failed 4 times over an hour and a half on one day. I am sure Osama just told them to stand down.

Im sure osama benefited from that day. Wait, no, only the bush admin and the neo-con agenda did.

I bet Osama wrote a document called Rebuilding Americas defenses in which he called for a new Pearl Harbor to bring about cataclysmic change... no wait, that was the bush cronies.

I bet Osama wouldn't want to hurt the people his family does business with - which is probably why he told his high jacker to circle the pentagon and hit the only reinforced area designed to take such a hit.

I bet osama even re-wrote the laws of physics that day letting buildings fall at near freefall speeds, even a building that sustained no plane hit, just poof into its pad, definitely osama.

Osama was DEFINITELY the asshole running around putting all the 2000 degree molten metal under the buildings as well... hes famous for pulling that crap.

The astronomical coincidences that took place that day are too many to list. Even if you subscribe to the complete erroneous theory of a pancaking steel structures.. cough.. the amount of things that do not add up that day should make anyone with an IQ count higher than their limb count should be able to recognize this as a false flag operation.

I think King pretty much summed it up in a nut shell ...lol star for ya ...

I remember very clearly seeing that video just a few days after it happened ..where he denied it ...and thinking terrorists NEVER deny something they did because it is for the glory they do terror ....and then just a few days later another video comes out with a man in it who did not even slightly favor Osama (not even somewhat ) saying he did it .....

No doubt about it Osama did not do it ...at least in my own opinion based on all the evidence that King brought up and THEN SOME .......(too many to count)
Some of us were actually awake and paying attention to what took place that day and all the days after that even .....

Even the official stories were nothing but contradictions lies and complete bs ..and I dont even see how anyone with even a half a brain could not see it for what it really was ..................but I know several who to this day still believe what they were fed ......hook line and sinker ......

Bin Laden was a pasty and a perfect bogeyman for the government. But,like all assets he and Al-queda began to outlive their usefulness notice they only trot out the Osama videos when it's appropriations time and whatever intelligence agency needs the cash.I don't know if any of you have heard but Al sadr has recently become a Ayatollah and there you have it a new monster to scare the gullible and continue to fleece us.

Yeah, King summed it up pretty well. Scrawny, sickly, greying Middle Eastern Osama denied involvement. Only later did fat, black, healthy and fairly younger Osama claim responsibility.

Just one question.

If Bin Laden stated he had nothing to do with the attack why didn't he come out and deny it again after we supposedly framed it on him?

It would seem to me that if he was innocent he would want to make sure the world knew that. Instead of letting himself be the worlds most wanted individual.

Probably because he died in December of 2001.

September to December is 4 months.

He would have had plenty of time to film himself denying any involvement.

Your presumptuous belief that anyone who doubts your perception of 9-11 must "suffer from a low IQ", is completely arrogant, and utterly ignorant.

You obviously have not the slightest inkling of how guerilla warfare is carried out, nor how its operations are conducted. You do not need a massive force, vast amounts of technology, nor money, in order to cripple a far superior force (As is the United States of America). Osama Bin Laden, and his cohorts Al-Qaeda, simply planned well, and in the process ran into a bit of good luck on their behalf (Bad Luck on ours).

If you seriously believe that our Government carried out the attacks, then you also have no experience with how a bureaucracy works. Even the most meticulous, and well thought out plans, often times run into serious problems in their implementation. For Osama Bin Laden to have carried out these attacks, in of itself requires FAR less meticulation and planning than what would have been necessary for our very own government to do the same thing. Al-Qaeda only required training in Airplane Flight, most notably only Take-offs as well, which is the easiest dumb proof aspect of the entire subject; as well as Building schematics, and a set of Group Booked Flights. THAT IS ALL IT TOOK.

If the Government on the other hand planned the 9-11 attacks, the level of planning would have required multiple Agencies, a VAST number of Personnel, and a Perfect, Error Free Execution of Demolitions, Fake Flights, JDAM Level Precision Strike Patterns, Forged Videography and Audio, Fraudulent Story lines with Evidentiary Support, and MOST notable of ALL, NO LOOSE LIPS. The idea that 9-11 was executed from within is more absurd than the notion that Apollo 11 never landed on the Lunar Surface. Such moments would have required THOUSANDS of participants in order to even attempt a fluid pull-off, and as anyone who was Government/MIL/ even Corporate Experience knows, you can never have such a large number of involved individuals, and still keep a secret.

If you had any real world experience, you would soon recognize the God awful absurdity behind your claims.

I'm playing both sides of the fence on this topic.

I just want to ask, when has being a suspect meant being guilty?

Being a suspect and being wanted are two differant things.

I dunno. I would say his health as he was barely alive in the September video, but he released 2 videos after that. If you look at the translation of the December 26 video though he does seem to strongly hint at it.

If you was not guilty of something and made a video after being framed would you stongly hint at being innocent or would you come out and say it?

I'm not saying he did or not. I just find it hard to believe that he wouldn't make a tape saying he was innocent.

Like someone posted. Terroists take responsibility of their actions. They also deny involvement.

Bin Laden has also claimed responsibility for 9/11 in numerous videos and Al-Quaeda feature clips of 9/11 in almost all their big videos released through As-Sahab media. Generally the impression I get is that Bin Laden is a liar because he keeps changing his story. Bin Laden also claimed that 'he knew the aircraft fuel would melt the steel but he never expected the buildings to completely collapse'. Yeah right Mr. Bin Laden..

Here's a fun fact though, in the Manhattan raids videos Osama tells us that the guys who did the embassy bombings were hiding out in the building for 9 months smuggling and planting explosives in the building before they blew them up. You can imagine if they loaded up the towers like that why Bin Laden was constantly telling the ops to be patience!

Osama likes demolition. He owns a big Saudi construction and demolition company. He has been responsible for blowing up many buildings and structures. Here's a short clip of his work on a buddists idol:

Well I think it's something to consider. It wouldn't suprise me either if Bin Laden construction was involved in the Burj tower construction and some of that WTC steel that got so quickly sold ended up there.

I agree with you, this is a valid point. But are you saying the only reason this couldn't be a false flag op is that someone would have spilled the beans?

Can it not be possible that only a select few were in the know, and those junior ranks that did know decided that "if they are willing to slaughter a few thousand office workers, then they'll surely wipe me and my family off the face of the planet, so I'll keep quiet."

There is also the idea that the agencies involved compartmentalise their ops. I do hear you and think it's a valid point. And I know you haven't argued any other point and you may have many others, but I don't think that's the most compelling argument for the OS.

Hope to hear more.

That is a great demonstration how to suppress valid arguments with a minimum of knowledge.

1. You attack your opponent on a personal level. With this, you create the illusion of a moral superiority.

4. You make FALSE statements: fake flights were not necessary, the same goes for forged videography etc. etc. You confuse the opening post with the NPT

and MOST notable of ALL, NO LOOSE LIPS.

Your only valid argument

Sure, in the end you ridicule the OP a third or fourth time, only to make sure, that the reader forget your weak arguments.

Your only valid argument, that the high level of secrecy is not easily maintained. But maybe you don't understand the force of intimidation.

"I have already said that I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States. As a Muslim, I try my best to avoid telling a lie. I had no knowledge of these attacks, nor do I consider the killing of innocent women, children and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people. Such a practice is forbidden even in the course of a battle.

"It is the United States, which is perpetrating every maltreatment on women, children and common people . . . "

It might be hard creating videos while hooked up to a kidney dialysis machine in a hospital or cave. Usama bin Laden was hospitalized in Dubai in July 2001 and the CIA visited him there.

Since it appears likely that the CIA kept track of and always knew the location of their asset Osama, it would be quite simple for the Bush Regime to intercept and confiscate any videos/audios Osama might attempt to produce protesting his involvement in 9-11 as he stated multiple times in September.

Kidney disease creates extreme weakness and the CIA likely made sure Osama was kept sufficiently medicated to keep him inactive. They likely made sure he had no access to audio/video recording equipment during the months before his death. However the damage had already been done with Osama's original public denials in late September 2001. Osama died of advanced kidney disease in December 2001 or perhaps some inept CIA agent took him out against orders.

The Usama bin Laden confession videos are quite obvious forgeries and the actors very poor imitations of Osama. The first Bush Regime fake Osama video (The Taliban Home Video) appeared on US TV on Oct 7, 2001. Usama bin Laden was a strict Wahhabi religionist and the absurb actor spoke nothing like Osama according to many expert Arabic linguists in numerous US universities.

The Taliban Home Video is a ridiculous comedy skit written by an idiot.

Bin Laden: AUTHENTIC INTERVIEW

The Taliban Home Video

Dubai, one of the seven emirates of the Federation of the United Arab Emirates, North-East of Abi-Dhabi. This city, population 350,000, was the backdrop of a secret meeting between Osama bin Laden and the local CIA agent in July. A partner of the administration of the American Hospital in Dubai claims that public enemy number one stayed at this hospital between the 4th and 14th of July.

Having taken off from the Quetta airport in Pakistan, bin Laden was transferred to the hospital upon his arrival at Dubai airport. He was accompanied by his personal physician and faithful lieutenant, who could be Ayman al-Zawahari--but on this sources are not entirely certain--, four bodyguards, as well as a male Algerian nurse, and admitted to the American Hospital, a glass and marble building situated between the Al-Garhoud and Al-Maktoum bridges.

Each floor of the hospital has two "VIP" suites and fifteen rooms. The Saudi billionnaire was admitted to the well-respected urology department run by Teerry Callaway, gallstone and infertility specialist. Dr Callaway declined to respond to our questions despite several phone calls.

As early as March, 2000, 'Asia Week,' published in Hong Kong, expressed concern for bin Laden's health, describing a serious medical problem that could put his life in danger because of "a kidney infection that is propagating itself to the liver and requires specialized treatment".
According to authorized sources, bin Laden had mobile dialysis equipment shipped to his hideout in Kandahar in the first part of 2000. According to our sources, bin Laden's "travels for health reasons" have taken place before. Between 1996 and 1998, bin Laden made several trips to Dubai on business.

On September 27th, 15 days after the World Trade Center attacks, at the request of the United States, the Central Bank of the Arab Emirates announced an order to freeze assts and investments of 26 people or organisations suspected of mainting contact with bin Laden's organization, and in particular at the Dubai Islamic Bank.

. . . . .

While he was hospitalised, bin Laden received visits from many members of his family as well as prominent Saudis and Emiratis. During the hospital stay, the local CIA agent, known to many in Dubai, was seen taking the main elevator of the hospital to go to bin Laden's hospital room.

A few days later, the CIA man bragged to a few friends about having visited bin Laden. Authorised sources say that on July 15th, the day after bin Laden returned to Quetta, the CIA agent was called back to headquarters.

. . . . . .

The contacts between the CIA and Bin Laden go back to 1979 when he was his family's business agent in Istanbul. That is where he began recruiting Arab or Muslim volunteers for the Afghan resistance against the Red Army. During their investigation into the attacks of August 1998 against the American embassies of Nairobi (Kenya) and Dares-Salaam (Tanzania), the FBI discovered that the chemical signatures left by the explosives used in these terrorist attacks were standard issue US explosives. Explosives which had been delivered three years earlier to the well known Afghan volunteer resistance fighting alongside Osama Bin Laden during the war of Afghanistan against the Soviet army.

Continuing its investigations, the FBI further discovered various "schemes and deals" which the CIA and its "Islamist friends" have devised and collaborated on for many years. Thus one may conclude that the Dubaï meeting is but the logical continuation of an "opaque and nebulous American policy".

Ah yes, the first denial by Osama rears its head again. Ran in the Pakistani paper "Ummat" the article quotes Bin Laden as saying, "Neither I nor my organisation Al-Qaida is involved in the attacks and the US has traced the attackers within America."

One problem, the paper never actually interviewed Osama.

The newspaper says it submitted questions for bin Laden to Taliban officials and received written replies.

web.archive.org...://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_410936.html

The article also credits Osama with saying

"We are against the American system but not the American people. Islam does not allow killing of innocent people, men, women and children even in the event of war."

Go read this 1998 interview with Osama...and then tell me he doesnt worry about killing men, women and children.
