So, I've been arguing over the last week with a bunch of 19 year olds about whether this tune was truly original or not; they said yes, I said
no...was stumped but age is an advantage, & I knew I heard the hook before...was going to have to call on the resident ATS lyrical librarian, b2, I
barely recognize you, but I finally remembered...
"Their" song: (cuaiton)
The original song w/ the borrowed hook:
should I burn them w/evidence tomorrow in lab?

Real nice, past few days I've been looking at my youth. I raised myself on early Yo MTV Raps, on early satellite days. But then you look at Jeru, Slum
Village today and they are the masters of the product.
Fugees I remember the night that album was released, there was a bunch of guys representin' from bar to bar in Glasgow, obviously trying to sell the
album (they were waving around copies of it) in cities throughout Europe. It wasn't every night there was a bunch of African Americans in *crappy
bars in Glasgow, I mean they do come through quite often but, anyway they didn't have to do that, we knew it was gonna be a classic anyway. Brilliant
album.

Donovan is amazing actually. I've never heard anyone else from that generation so sharp and spot on even when interviewed today, seem his last
interview on Stern. When questioned on the 70s and 60s, he knows exactly where he was and who was there. Incredible. Good of him to join in with this
guy doing street busking his songs when he happened to pass by.
