Awwww, Qumulys, you are so kind, thank you.
I don't have a lot of furniture lying around. I decided a few month ago to start getting rid of the typical flat pack furniture most of us have, and
start replacing it with more traditional, solidly built, proper wood bits. Of course they looked 'dated' and sad, especially in the Bureabeastie's
case (although that is one piece that I am selling!). So I am gradually working through my house.
It's weird....once I decide...right, that's next to go, I stumble across somebody just getting rid of furniture, or selling them off at basically next
to no money.
I'm going to be moving in the summer, and I don't want to be moving with loads of stuff, so closer to the time, I might even decide to sell/pass on
the bits I have done and start from scratch when I've moved
I'm doing a plant pot today,.....one of those plastic tub things in terracotta look. I was given a rather large plant that needed a much bigger pot,
you can see the corner of the poor plant that is needing this next to the blanket box...still sat in a bin bag! I didn't have the money (or
inclination) to go out and buy a big pottery one. It was my friend who suggested I use one of the big plastic ones from the garden and paint it
up....so it's going charcoal and burgundy to match my lounge furniture.
I'll post before and afters later.

PS....the base colour is actually more taupe not grey. But grey and yellow can look really chic.
I want that painting of the trees.....I love it!
(sorry I didn't see your tree post until I answered your previous one!)
