Rich hating welfare claimants

Do the rich truly hate the poor, or are they just greedy and want their money. Do the rich see money spent on social welfare as money they were entitled to? I am not sure the rich have time to hate the poor as their thoughts are spent on keeping all their money and of course scamming to make more.

On the other hand in the past I have seen and heard middle class pour their hate upon the poor, as the middle class is rapidly shrinking and many are joining the poor there seems to be more hate than ever before being aimed at rich. While the old poor was undereducated and uninformed those of the middle class that are now falling into poverty see how the rich manipulate the government and understand where their jobs went.

Hate seems to be a by product of trickle down economics as our middle class trickles down into poverty they are rightfully filled with hate and anger towards those that put them there.

Besides that, out here in occupied California, they will send you an $1,800 dollar check a month for sitting on your ass.

And no, it's not unemployment either. You don't have to be looking for work, or have any disability whatsoever.

These lunatics will even give you a tax return check for doing absolutely nothing. All you have to do is file the paperwork.

I was on welfare in Ca, (went through some tough times and now I am on my feet and doing well) So I know first hand. You would have to have 15 kids to get that amount, and have had them all prior to applying for welfare as California DOES NOT give you more money for any additional children if that child was born while you were on welfare.

Unless you worked, you can not get a tax return PERIOD. Oh, and another thing, unless you have a medical reason, or can show that you have a child with special needs that requires you at home you HAVE to participate in some form of job training, have a job, or show that you are spending 32 hours a week looking for work.

That is FACT!

Oh yeah, there is also a 52 month lifetime limit in the state of California.

Well said,for alot of folks welfare is still what it was back in the ah donno 60ts 70ts 80ts and the welfare reform under Clinton didn't happened,they seem stucked in some pre-Reaganite era.

And as we argue and bicker about the pittance our neighbor is getting through the gov't aide Kerry is announcing that the US is prepared to give Ukraine a billion dollars if they will just join the EU!!!

I don't know who is dumber our gov't for trying to buy every nation into what they want or we the people for not all dropping what we are doing and journeying to washington armed with pitchforks and torches (let's not forget the guillotine this time guys!!!)

Or maybe it's those kids that are putting themselves a few hundred thousand dollars in debt in the hopes that that liberal arts degree will get them a job that will pay them enough to allow them to live as well as pay off the debt!!!

I know one thing though. I and many other amoung the lower income earners knows that when we look into the bank account and find it short on funds and then go to our cubboards and find them nearly bare that it's time for a diet!! And.....not time for us to be giving money we don't have to others so they will "like us more" .

So I guess what I am saying is that however dumb you think we might be, we are still a few steps up from the ones running the show!!!!!

My gripe about that is that the law requires them to get a job and as far as I know didn't set any standard for the wage they should earn!!!
Seems to me that if they are gonna require them to work they should at least expect them to make enough to pay the babysitter!! They don't! So what this law has done has let loose a bunch of people into the workforce who more than likely don't really want to make too much money (unless of course it's a whole lot of money so they can jump over that giant income canyon instead of fall into it (ya know that canyon where you make just enough for the gov't to say you don't need any help but not enough to make it!!)
So in essence they don't care how little they make..
This has several negative effects:
First Uncle Sam is now paying more money to them. Since they are still not making enough to have their benefits cut they are still getting some food stamps and hud ect on top of the child care cost the transportation cost and the money for thier meals at work.

Then there's the matter that it is giving them an unfair advantage over those that are in that canyon who have to worry about how much they make since it the paycheck doesn't cover their childcare well it makes no sense to work!! Not to mention you employer is having all these people coming to them who don't care because they just need a job!! Any job!! Matter of fact they would prefer a minimum wage job!!!

It is costing us more to force people (usually single mothers) who were quite happy staying at home taking care of their children into the workforce then it would to just let them stay home and be mothers!!

Listen to you all calling people dumb, I don't know why the moderators are letting you get away with this.

This is a clearly discrimination and should be dealt with, going by the ATS user terms and conditions. even if it wasn't directed at a ATS member.
It still isn't a good image for ATS to allow users to call a person "stupid" "scum "and "dumb".


I am afraid humanity has no hope in the terms of solving, its differences with one and other. This is just a merry go round ride that goes around and around not a change of scenery.

Job wages have decreased where is the money that used to be earned going? inflation no way inflation should inflated wages as well..

Look deeper and you only gotta see where its going.

A lot of stuff in Australia has also gone off-shore, Holden, Toyota, Caterpillar, why because the CEO's can pay them selfs more now and a foreign worker less.

agenda 21 is pushing ahead in Australia rapidly...

But bleeding heartedness is the rational response to capitalism. 80 percent of the world lives on less than ten dollars a day, there are more slaves worldwide now than 1850, and total debt in the system must exponentially expand.

I don't care how hard you work or what you think you deserve for your "work", the system is designed such that any amount of money out of debt you are, someone or someone elses is in proportional debt. Anyone who takes pride in their "earnings" in such a system is myopic at best, psychopathic at worst.

And of course those who pat themselves on the back for "earning their pay" are always blind to the complex web of forces and factors propping them up. Your typical middle classer relies on all kinds of exploitation to stay afloat.

Yes my friend, The cost of living is insane, and it's going up, but you should not hate people who are succeeding in the struggle to endure it. Just because some are more resourceful than others, doesn't make them bad. It's called natural law buddy, it's the way of all life on this planet.

If you have all the answers to these problems, I am all ears because people deserve to be happy, and at the very least they deserve to be able to put a roof over their families heads, and to put food on the table while working hard. Nothing is for free in this world, nothing.

Yeah there is a lot that I don't like about Capitalism, but there is also a lot that I admire about it. Know what I really hate though? = International Capitalism. Now there is an out of control monster that is causing a lot of the misery that you mentioned. ~$heopleNation

Its my contention to see logic and reasoning why people are different. Some people are better than you at somethings and others aren't its a fact of life there shouldn't be such thing as stupid people. Dumb is a easy way of putting someone down with out even questioning the fact they may be good at other aspects of life. Never put someone into a simple category and underestimate people they may surprise you.

The number of traumatic brain injury patients compared to the number of flat out idiots in this country is infinitesimal.

I would gladly trade off subsidizing TBI patients if we allow the idiots to live or die on their own.
