Unable to see/imagine pictures

Yes i dream and often vividly - I only tend to remember the bad ones though.

In colour and is like watching a movie -which is why i figured i should be capable consciously too.

I have tried emptying my mind and still do - to quote my teachers of old "must try harder"

Good, not only do you dream but you do so in color (not everyone does, and that's impressive on its own). I think what you may be thinking when you imagine other people "seeing" things is that they are looking at something like a TV, or a dreamscape. When I see "yellow" by thinking of it, it's not like it's in front of my eyes, but 'something' is looking at yellow. That 'something' can create any image it can handle, and move them around, move them in 'space' (in back of my head, in front, to the sides, above, etc). More in a little while, have to run now, but yes, I think if you can dream you can "see" what people are talking about.
