Hi! new member full of questions! well may be just one or two

Hi, I joined ATS a while ago, but I didn't start using it till a couple of days ago because of finals/ univ. stuff. However I'd like to introduce myself and ask a couple of questions about ATS, specially because every forum in this site has different rules and it's a bit complicated for me to find some answers for noobies for the questions i've got.
I'm from Argentina, about to become a sworn translator, 25 years old (not for too long though) and I joined ATS because it seems to be where everything I google leads me to. Like somehow I'm being drawn back here, or may be this is the the largest source of information about consciousness and aliens
Well, I think that's enough of me, now to the question time.
1. When I see "conspiracieS" in a forum name, It doesn't mean we post stuff we dont truly believe in right? it's more like what people think about these subjects and its an ironical way to title the forums right? remember, words are very important.
2. The "really above top secret" forum, has always been down?? *wink wink * or is it that today is down and I'm not lucky enough as to see it working?

If you collect enough of them for posting awesome content, you won't have to look at all those annoying ads anymore.

When a forum has the word "conspiracies" in it , that means we all believe its the absolute truth.

As far as the Really Above Top Secret forum (RATS) you have to be a member here for a while before you can see threads there. I think its based on your WATS score or the number of posts you have but, it may take a while to get access depending on how often you post here.

I'm sure you will be called upon for your expertise in the future. So many members here, from all over the world. Some new items posted in the forums, are only in the native dialect of the country of origin. Having a willing helpful translator can make or break a thread.

This site is amazing. The avatar creations forum is full of very talented people, a lot of us got our avatars from them, they are true wizards of their art form.

Try to take things slowly at first, as there is always so much info coming into this site from all over, there are just too many topics to read in any small amount of time.

If you have ever thought about or questioned something, it is probably posted here somewhere with an entire laundry list of perspectives and opinions.

Dunno about the tinfoil hat, but today it's the first day I've been actively using this forum and I already disconnected my wireless function in my router

Anything we can do! The tinfoil hat keeps tptb from beaming into and out of your brain/head/thoughts.

Be careful disconnecting stuff. We had one member who disconnected their WIFI and their remotes in the house wouldn't turn off the TV's!! (And the garage door wont open any more).

Lin and i are from argentina and we dont have the same school or university system you guys have in US or other countries.
Our college is kinda different.For example , she is about to have her degree on sworn translation , that is a 5 years long career design for that particular case.You dont "pick" any major or side stuff . I dont know if im making myself clear , sorry if im not , is way different XD
