I am all out of ideas...

I thought that it having six gaps in it was a dead give away for a guitar string cleaning device, and that was my best shot

I am wracking my brains, and it seems too small to be of any use to me, which is why I thought if it was an instrument cleaner for a six string instrument. I have NO idea what other use there could be for it. Da Thing remains a mystery to me!

Hi Gordi! Good evening!

Is it some sort of dampener then? Like when your rest the ball of your palm on the strings at the bottom?

Hi guys

That all went very well indeed. I was called earlier and asked to go in early afternoon instead.

I was offered the job and a very generous pay rise, but the journey is a nightmare and I would have to leave at 5:30am in order to guarantee getting there on time and wouldn't be home until 7pm.

Its a long day and that's before overtime starts, I was crunching the figures in my head as we spoke and I'd be about £60 a week better off after paying for petrol (My costs would go from £20 a week to over £100, I brimmed the car this morning and checked on the way home £22 a day) so it's not really worth the extra hassle.

I told the boss I was going for an interview as well, and he said if I get it he'll consider a pay rise.

So I haven't refused the job but asked for a day to think it over, and will see what Mrs C has to say about it later.

It was my old boss from a previous company that recommended me to them, I was over the moon.

So hold the front page

Hope all is well with all you young people

Cody

Some kind of a fancy guitar pick?

We have a WINNER!!!!

Take a bow Homer!!!!

It's called a Strum Rose!
And it is indeed a fancy guitar pick!!

It is intended to make an acoustic guitar sound more "jangley" like a 12 string guitar.
I call it my FX pedal for an Acoustic!

Each time you Strum the guitar... each string gets hit several times... by the stack of plectrums in the "rose", This creates the impression of the guitar having many more strings than it actually does!

It is a cracking good wee gadget, and very rare now, since they don't make them anymore - Great conversation piece too around the camp fire or at the music festivals!
Here's one on an archived web page

Well done Homer!

Hi Tsu - Not quite that, but I like your thinking!

@cody - GoBro!!! Nice to have options ma man!If the journey time kills it... pump your current boss for the equivalent salary payrise?
and... Homer guessed the photo quiz thing correctly! It's a fancy plectrum!
