I completely agree!

I have some pretty serious health issues, and at the same time, I am trying to make the world a better place for everyone. It sounds like some obnoxious dream phase of an idealistic pre-teen, but I actually have a plan.

That said, motivation is imperative. EVERYTHING I do puts me in enormous pain. So, all of the work I am doing basically puts me into seizure inducing pain (in a literal sense, actually).

The encouragement, friendliness, and compassion in these threads has re-ignited a fire that was dwindling in me. A lot of my family just tells me how I am going to fail, which is a bit discouraging. But, this thread has made me say "Eff the Naysayers, we are doing this."

Its kind of the attitude we have had all along. And, in all honesty, we really might change the world! I dont self-promote or actively advertise the threads in my signature, but they are my lifes work. They are very, very important to me and I intend to show how it can all be done rather than just complain about the state of affairs in the world. I received very little response to those threads, which along with everything else, really was making the going.. tough.

Thanks to this thread, I have a renewed vigor on all of this.

All the sexiness in the thread rubbed off on me. May it do the same for you!

I find hitting the pause or stop button is far more effective and gentle.......as I discovered when I've had a go at listening to some of yours!

I know about hard times, and would venture that many participating in this thread do too.. But, I can also say that actively participating in this thread has many health benefits! It could even get rid of that depression, at least while you are reading!*

Yes I can always use help, I'm doing Statistics and it sucks LOL

Today ended up being a crappy day, I was outside doing some target shooting, and I lost one arrow due to wind, another arrow one of the fletchings came off, which is really annoying since I just bought the arrow last thursday
Oh wll, I got 4 other arrows to lose-er shoot

Evening all!
I have just done my daily "catch-up" and now it's time for my bed.... LOL - Or I guess it Just feels like it!

I've had a Busy Busy week again.

Moved office premises yesterday, but still had to get all the work done whilst moving!!! grr

Plus we're Still catching up on the jobs that were put back a little because of last weeks weather up here (hail / sleet / snow showers). Feels like it's never ending sometimes.

The Weekend is coming! But I've got band practice on Friday night, then through to the East coast on Saturday lunchtime to visit friends & watch the Rugby in the pub, then a big night out...

ugghhhh!!! I think I'll just go to bed and follow the Rainbow Warriors on my laptop!

Thinking is beyond me at the moment

I'm shattered after this week, I was up at 4 preparing dinner, and thinking how the hell to get the work out the door.

I find cooking and music relaxes the mind

Maybe it's just me

All has worked out so far and my mind is in relax mode. Time for a scotch and some relaxing music, I'm bypassing classical and going to my favourite memory

Suffice to say a young lady was involved, some 25 year old scotch, and a cigarette of sorts, and sucking a golf ball through a straw was the topic of conversation .
