Hi hunny!
I'm on my third cup now, lol!
Thanks for your kind words, and yeah...I get grumpy when something is hurting too.
You're cute when you blush....oh! there you go again!

I'm still enduring the long process of 'waking up' here.
I hope you have a good day also, friend!

Hiya Peeps!

Good morning/afternoon/evening...

I'm so loving the new chapters guys, fantastic work.

More Group Hugs!

hehehe.

I'm sorry to hear about your head ache Jaky, I'll do all the housework today, you rest.

I'll be in and out as usual but I have a phone that needs resuscitating and it normally takes me three days or more to get into a new avi. I'm thinking of filming the endevour and sending it to Channel 4's comedy shorts.

Hey Sis!!
I'm not sure what you're filming, but if you're in it...you know we want to see!!!
Thanks for the house-cleaning offer....what with Rod's cat's stinky eggs, ferret and gerbil droppings, dragon scorches and dust bunnies, I'm a little overwhelmed!

Meh, I was thinking I could dust the chandalier or sweep the patio but noooo, I get pooper scooper duties. Story of my life!

I might film myself trying to fix my 'thick-as-snip' phone. Either that or I'm going to have to spend my sofa-savings on getting someone else to do it.

Have you got any plans for today? I might do a bit of writing in a bit, got chores to do first though so I can concentrate when I sit down hehe.

Hi True!
Are you just waking up now, lol?
(that would explain your 'bed head hair', hehe)

I'm just sipping my coffee, and catching up on everyone here.
We have sunshine today...what's going on in your world?

Tsu, you're going to fix your phone? Geez, aren't you clever?

My plan for today is to write another chapter, lol. That and to procrastinate....later, after I'm completely awake!

Hi True, welcome to waking at a more reasonable time.

Jaky, I'm not clever at all lol, that's the problem hehe. My Dad is an engineer with BT but even he has no advice. It's going to be all youtube instruction videos and googling with a dictionary

Excellent news, the tadpoles that were just little black blobs now have tails and those that had small tails are now basking underwater on the rocks! I'll be going back to the garden center soon to get plants to go around the edges, plus, none of the herbs and bushes that I planted last week have died so happy days.

Yes indeed, it was a very late waking for me today!

Beautiful day by all appearances though. Blue sky, light dusting of cloud, and sunny as you like!

Good day everyone!

My GOD I slept really late! :/

You think you slept late? Last night I actually slept eight hours, a rarity for me these days it seems. But while I seem to be awake, I feel another well timed nap coming on in a hour or so. Maybe I got too much sleep?

All those times in the past of going without sleep for days seem to have caught up with me.

I took part in a exercise while serving and went five days without any real sleep, a hour or two a day at most at irregular times. Living off of nothing but coffee and smokes. By day three I was a babbling idiot and day five I was hallucinating. People were amused, but still fascinated that I continued to be able to function. At the end, I received two beers and didn't make it through the first one. Slept for over 24 hours. TWO BEERS! It wasn't worth it. I think I'm still paying the price of that one.

TDawg, Going a long time without sleep...that is torture! I've been there...ended up delirious. (thinks I may still be?)

Chanting for support: "Cody!" "Cody!"

I know those looooong stints too.
In my student days, watched M.A.S.H. for 26hrs non stop to raise money for charity. (Guiness book of records faile to turn up to monitor 'cos they got the dates wrong grrrrrrrrr). Anyway, by about the 13th viewing me and the chap I was doing it with were taking alternate turns to quote the script just to stay awake! Yup, I slept for 24hrs too!
I've gone for 3 days without sleep....for no reason whatsoever many a time....does that count?

Want a nap-time story to lull you off?
Here is the beginning of chapter 11, so you know I'm not slacking off.

The Shed Part 11

As everyone filed out of the dining room, Jane motioned to Jacy to stay behind.
"I've summonsed woodsmom to the party," she said. "I'd like you to be on the look-out for her."
"Oh sure, my pleasure!" Jacy responded. "Will she be arriving alone?"
Jane grinned. "I guess you haven't met Tommy Boy yet?"
"No...I don't think so...what does he look like?"
With a completely blank expression, Jane said "He's a moose."
Jacy nodded, "A lodge member..."
"No!" Jane started laughing. "He's a real moose...from Alaska. He arrived earlier and the boys fed him then sent him to cheer up Night Star! He is woodsmom's guardian...like Whimsy is yours."
"OHhhhh...." Jacy laughed. "A moose. Should fit right in around here."
Then the girls parted ways....Jane retreated to her personal chambers, while Jacy went outside to meet Tommy Boy.

TDawg and Homer had placed a party sign on the fence at the far edge of the property. Those two, along with fossilera...often gave the impression that were 'not entirely human'. The cooking of meat was almost an obsession, and simple tasks were undertaken rather poorly. Jane's only comment on the matter was, "Aww, bless 'em for trying." Apparently, there were many magical secrets in Rainbow Land.
Tsu, Jane, and Night Star were preparing themselves for a night of festivity. Rainbow coloured chiffon dresses were donned, fragrant oils were being dabbed on pulse points, and soft feminine humming drifted through open windows.
There was magic in the air as surely as if sparkles were raining upon the land. Pixies and faeries danced around maypoles in the garden, while fireflies and hummingbirds fluttered above.

TrueBrit, Gordi, Cody, Rodinus and Serdgiam were also preparing for the night's celebration. Each in their own room, each performing their own personal 'ritual'. True took a swig of rum, and swatted at the pixies who were trying to braid his hair. Sitting in his white shirt, black jacket and red tie, he rubbed his aching shoulder and wondered what had induced him to head-bang at the jam session.
Gordi was standing in front of his mirror, adjusting the wig and kilt he was forced to perform in, due to losing a bet with TrueBrit. "Could be worse?" he shrugged at himself. "Could be bunny slippers!" then he laughed, and danced a jig for his own amusement.
Cody was also watching his own reflection in the mirror. As he stood in black tux and tails...Jane was mischeiviously using her magic from her room down the hall. Cody would suddenly be wearing a rainbow-top hat...then a moment later a rainbow cummerbund. "Woman! Make up your mind!' Cody yelled...hearing her laughter as she zapped him with a matching rainbow bowtie.
