I used some hydromol last night, which is some sort of heavy duty moisturising gunk, and that seems to have helped. It has prevented my skin from feeling tight, stretched, as is so often the case after a burn. But putting my hand over the affected areas, despite the fact that I have a white cotton shirt on, I can feel the heat coming off it, when compared with unaffected regions of my skinscape, as it were.

How are you today good Sir?

Very well thanks bro
Just had a very productive meeting with my director
about Tim. Tim had been making agist comments
and trying to force people to take holidays
both highly illegal.

Must hey back to it.
Hope the burn clears up soon

...Yes, good assessment. Maybe Cody could play around and take the streaks away from her face, maybe put a slight smile. I'd hate to get rid of either avatar. Just too indecisive right now....

Sorry for "intruding" I hope you don't mind, but I had a few minutes free, and started playing around with the avatar... was this along the lines of what you were thinking?

I think she meant her old avatar on page 269...the one with the bangs (fringe) and in sepia....I could be wrong

That looks better IMO (Of course it's up to Night). But upon looking at it, it doesn't look like she is crying.

Nice!

I've felt your pain...too many times.

I don't tan...I say I pink...then I red. And shortly after I burn, I blister. Not a good time.

My Mom once decided to save money and do the kids hair herself, she ended up giving me a crew cut (I didn't want one!) in July when I was eight. I ended up sunburned on my head so bad that I looked like a little zombie with all the chunks of skin peeling off my head. (I wasn't laughing then about it, but do now)

I think it's my Scottish bloodlines. I don't do well in humidity either.

Oh God!

Humidity? The only thing that would suck more than the burn I have now, would be to have the same burn, but also have to deal with the hot sticky feeling of a really humid day and night. That would be such a gigantic bummer, that it would consist of forty three cheeks !

Hi everyone! *hugs*

I am not feeling good at all today...likely going to lay down and watch a movie.
I just wanted to check in.

True...try dabbing white vinegar on your sunburn hun, it's always worked for me. You'll smell like a chippy, but it helps.

Going to lurk and read a little.

Good job Cody!

Crush the buggers thats what I say. Isms of all kinds in the work place are unacceptable, and employers trying to pull a fast one on their staff deserve all the terrible things that might befall them one day, like catastrophic brake failures, gas explosions in their homes, and any accident which forcibly introduces the claw side of a hammer to their colons.

Can you tell that I am related to a former union representative?

Ah, ok - The old one...
Hows about adding Nights new "soulful" eyes to that one then?

A little more colour?

+ Golden outfit & Green trees?

Dark Hairstyle?

Blonde with brightened eyes?

Blonde bright eyes with dark forest?

More natural skin tones?

I love this kind of stuff!! LOL
No worries Night (if you don't like 'em!!) I'm just messing about!!
(I have Downloaded some new Image manipulation software - GIMP2.8 and am just trying it out.)

I think I like the 1st one here - old sepia ava with new eyes??

Anyway - Cheers!

Gordi, thank you...you're so sweet!

I haven't receiving any 'nurturing' for years. The very idea of someone treating me that way is foreign.
I accept your 'cyber' version....with gratitude!

(Oh, and I don't snore...I drool!)

Morning my Sweeties!

Thanks Gordi for the time you spent with the avatars!! I was wondering what my current one would look like if changed up a bit like you did. Somehow though, it's just not the same. And the sepia one, that is one thing I never liked about it was that sepia color. The eyes look too ghostly with changes, but I do appreciate your trying.

Sorry you're not feeling well Jacy. Rest up and we'll catch you later hopefully.

Sorry you're not feeling well. I blame the weather! For the most part, what you get, so do I, with the exception of that storm the other day. It was north of me, but it looked like you guys got it pretty good.

Rest & relax. You have your drool towel now.
Tomorrow is a new day and even though it's supposed to be crappy weather...it's still a new day. Another day...another adventure!

Thanks Gordi, Night Star and Dawg!

Yeah, it could be the weather. I just woke up so damned depressed.
Appreciate the kind words!

I've been like that too. Tomorrow I can finally pick up my new prescription and hope it helps. usually they make me too tired or out of it though. I'll probably end up with a book on the couch and falling asleep for the day. LOL It is so beautiful and warm outside. If we had the outdoor table and chairs and swing set up, I could be outside, but I have to wait for my niece and her boyfriend to do that and that could take another month or so.

Hi [[[Night]]]!
No problem hunny! Am having great fun trying out the new software!!

I think your current one is FAB!
Her eyes are so soulful and a little distant/sad, that I didn't think it would work very well making her smile anyway.

Your old one is nice too!!
The "new" eyes, because of their soulfulness, do lend a "ghostly" air to that one though.

Why not try the old one as pure Black and White? (rather than sepia)

You could then re-colour it any shade that you fancy?
