I haven't watched any of the GoT seasons yet either. Drives my friends nuts when they are talking about it and I bring up some tidbit.

"I THOUGHT YOU DID'NT WATCH IT!" they scream.

To which I reply, I don't, but I read it online. It's especially amusing if I have a tidbit before the show airs. I do have some connections after all. But they are tenuous. I try not to burn bridges.

Ok, I’m going to revisit the original premise of this thread.

TDawg came out of the woods dragging a tarp of firewood behind him. It’s been a good day despite his knee bothering him, he thought.

He saw Night Star, Jane and Tru huddled around Jacy and the rest of the Shed crew surrounding them.

TDawg thought to himself…”this can’t be good.” A black cloud seemed to envelope the area, which is something he had never seen before. He dragged the wood to the fire pit and walked up to Rodinus. “What’s going on?”

“Jacy’s furry friend and Sophie’s cage mate has passed on.” Rod looked at the ground. “Sometimes life just sucks.”

“I know that you have recently lost a friend also. It is life. We may not like the crap that it throws at us, but we also must appreciate what it gives us as well.” TDawg hated feeling the pain of others and being powerless to help.

He looked up. He had an idea. “Let’s hold a celebration of life party! Our furry friends give us their all at all times. Nothing but love and fun and devotion. Let’s not grieve their passing. Not after all they have given us. But let us remember everything that they have given us. Undying loyalty and love. Let’s celebrate that!

He looked up at the faces gathered and still saw the sadness. “Well I had to try,’ he thought.

Homer walked by and clamped a hand on his shoulder. And mumbled “Good try Dawg… I guess I better get the fire started. And you had best start getting some drink and food. Wakes can be a mess sometimes.”

I had a pork flank steak the other day at my buds place from one of the pigs he raises. (I had a small hand in that as well), Totally free range, just like his chickens. And fed nothing but organic feed, and whatever they find on the ground, LOL.

Just talking about it is making me hungry again. Best pork I have ever had. It tasted like a steak! No pork flavor whatsoever. But his bacon is to die for as well,
