Oh man I can't believe I forgot to mention Ace Freiley or however it's spelled. The lead guitarist of Kiss. I don't care how many times we met him, he was always drunk as a skunk and funny as hell. His laugh was actually a giggle. He would stand there swaying as he talked. Hahahaha!

I have the honor of getting kicked out of Gene Simmons vacation house for drinking underage there. He was pissed!

Dawg, as if to prove my point I have absolutely no idea what you meant about the thunder, I'm officially stumped.

I was referring my love of fireworks and pretty much anything that produces a loud bang.

During slow days while deployed, I usually could be found at the demo pit helping the engineers and EOD wire up ordinance to blow. The first explosion in the video I posted is the demo pit in Bosnia I believe. It looks familiar to me anyways.

I was invited to a party when I was sixteen at some dude's house, (That dude turned out to be Gene Simmons, though I didn't know it until after the fact). This guy wanders outside and sees us drinking on his porch and asks to see some ID and who had let us in. Of course we all claimed innocence and said we didn't have ID's on us. At that point he kind of lost his cool, Telling us to get out, That we're trying to get him into trouble, which he didn't need. Etc, Etc...

It wasn't until the next day that the guy who brought us there saw us and was laughing that only we could get kicked out of Simmons house (I guess that's a talent?). Of course we looked at him like he was insane and said who? Gene Simmons you idiots! Of KISS!

We all pretty much went Aaaaha! Cool! We never would have recognized him back then as KISS was still all into protecting their identity thing and he looked like a normal, but pissed off guy to me.

But after time I always had a appreciation for him. He could have called the cops, but didn't. He wasn't flashy and his vacy home looked like any other house in the area...though it was lakefront. That's how we got there...by canoe.

Seeing as we're name dropping...these guys went to my old school...ones 16 years older than me (and seriously ill) the other was 10 years younger and dead

Great story Dawg! I don't think Gene drinks neither did Paul. I think Ace made up for them. LOL I found Gene to be arrogant. Paul was always such a gentleman. Peter Chriss the drummer was rarely ever seen.
