Hahahahaha! Actually I learned a lot just poking around by myself. There are tutorials on youtube that are helpful. Once you know where to find stuff, you're pretty good to go. Some things seem hidden...at the very bottom of a page, look close and you will see three dots like this ...
click on them to find other things. I just found out in my e-mail it gave me options and I found the damned smilies. LOL For refreshing a page, it's at the bottom too, click on those dots!! If you're looking for something you used to find on top of a page it's now on the bottom. LOL Have fun!

My version must be different

It's 8.1 it updated a couple of weeks ago, I don't have a touch screen, I was just about to buy one, then the whole stupid Cody incident happened, and funds will have to be redirected as soon as Mr's C's laptop gives up the ghost, it can only be a matter of time.

I wanted to take her out windows shopping today, (see what I did there) but she is currently talking to God on the big white porcelain telephone...................It's not a pretty sight. So plans are on hold.

I'm dying for full English breakfast, but I'm not sure the cuddle monster could handle the smell of me cooking it

Ho hum tea and toast it is.................bugger.................bugger...............bugger

Scratch that just found the left over curry from the Chinese, Mr's C is ill for 2 hours and single Cody mode kicks straight in LOL

Oh, I have the touch screen, but mostly use my mouse. I was scared to death at first because all I ever heard about windows 8 or 8.1 were bad things., but that's mostly what the stores carry. I am not technically inclined or all that bright, so if I could find things on my own, anyone can. Going to check out those online tutorials too. I'm sure I'll never learn all there is to know, but as long as I can function well on forums, e-mail and keep up with all my security stuff, I'm a happy camper. LOL I LOVE this new computer and I'm sure Mrs.C will too.

Heh, I have been into the birthday thread today already, there is a full explanation of the fail heavy expedition that was my birthday drinks. Long story short, it was just me and my besty, because everyone else cried off. We ended up saying screw it all, and going back to her place to watch metal videos and get drunk. Plus, I have a cold. Thats the update!
