Hi Night Star

I'm running windows 8.1 as well I had to google how to shut down the 'puter LOL

It takes some getting used to but once your used to it it's OK

Cody

Hiya Cody! I will be getting my new computer tomorrow night actually. They installed the windows and my firewall/virus protection for me and I could have gotten it today, but the ex had other errands. Tell me now, how do I shut it down???? I don't want to freak out when I use it. LOL I'm so nervous. I'm not technically inclined nor the brightest light bulb in the pack. If you guys don't see me for a while it's because I have no idea what I'm doing. LOL Didn't they have an operating manual to see how to shut the damned thing off? Oh Lord I'm in so much trouble. LOL Get ready for a lot of questions!!

Hello True!! If you're not ready for computer talk, look at the cute faeries above. LOL! Or do I have to find some more cute owl pics? Damn I actually meant to do that earlier.

Cute images are cute!

I just cannot get myself going this morning. There is no spark in my plug! No fan in my belt! I lack thermodynamism at this point.

It will be my twenty ninth year on this planet on the 20th of this month. The celebration should prove interesting

To be honest, I see this as merely another birthday. I do not consider the impending end of my twenties as any particular milestone. People make a big deal out of these things, but in actuality, this birthday will have no greater meaning than any of the others I have had! Still, it will be nice to absorb the atmosphere that such a celebration is accompanied by!

Up until my late 40's, birthdays were no big deal. Now it's like, what else will go wrong? LOL Actually after cancer, I'm just happy to be still be here, and especially thankful for all you fine folks in here that I have come to treasure.

Going to read now and hopefully get to sleep. Have a wonderful day! Bye Bye for now!

After growing up around hordes of women, I thought you girls stopped ageing at 29? Whenever my Ma snaps at me these days, I tell her to mind her elders.

LOLaclysm!

Like a cataclysm, but LOL!

I grew up around my mother and sister mostly. But the weird is strong with us in many respects, one of them being that the ladies in my family appear to have avoided such pretension of youth! Myself, I realised many years ago that my age was not equal to my character. The older I get, the more comfortable I am with things. Its as if I am filling out a pre-stretched skin, walking to a place with which I am more familiar, than the one I left.

Good morning/afternoon everybody!
I logged on earlier, and apparently fell asleep curled up with the laptop...hehe...
So I'm just wiping the drool off, and grabbing coffee.
Is anybody home?

TrueBrit, reporting for duty madam!

Yes, I am still here. I was going to go for an early lunch, but my plan was scuppered by a sudden requirement for a supply run, on the part of my mother/manager, and her chum. Ah well... tea, cigarettes, and customers, not to mention hearty banter with the good folk of the Shed will nourish me well enough for now

How are you this fine day, apart from dealing with drool?

You're looking bright-eyed and bushy-tailed my friend!

I'm good...I think. Won't know properly til the caffeine wakes up a few more brain cells.
Soooo....big birthday celebrations are coming up for you? (I'm with Tsu on this...get your pals to take some pics for us, lol).
29 huh? I didn't get to have a party for my 29th...too busy with twin babies, so have a drink for me when you're out!

Yep, still here doing the breakfast thing myself. Another hour and my hike to the store begins. I figure I can do eight miles in two to three hours. Take a quick nap, do some lunch and back to spring maintenance. This is turning out to be a productive week!

True...just don't forget about your shed family. You have to spend a wee bit of your birthday with us so we can celebrate! I'm sure there will be a mixed bag of cyber hugs and treats, lol.

Dawg...don't you seem perky this morning?
It's nice to have a plan for the day, although that sounds like quite a hike!

I think I will spend some time procrastinating....maybe later....

How the hell would I forget all the wonderful people in this shed? I will be working during the day on Thursday, and will no doubt be online during that period, if the rest of the last couple of weeks is anything to go by!

Don't listen to Jacy, go out and have a good time and if you're not
then you can tell us about the adventure.

The hike isn't that bad. Before my back went out I used to jog it once a week. There is a auto parts store closer, but I bought the parts I needed from this store. It's all good as I didn't do my walks Sunday or yesterday.

I'm not a gym rat and prefer to do my workouts more naturally. It's less boring that way. I just can't wrap my mind around why people want to jog/bike in place watching TV. And no matter how clean the gym looks, they always reek of BO. That's distracting.

hahaha...good to know! It's like a wicked addiction, isn't it?
I seriously don't know anybody (in real life) who is witty, intelligent, talented....like the beautiful people here are.
What with all the writing....the music...videos....I'm sensing something HUGE!
We are all so different, yet still kindred spirits.
Must say, I'm still loving it!
