Funny you should ask that. I was once here on my own in the store, and a little old lady came in. She seemed very timid until I greeted her with the standard BBC World Service accent, saying "Good morning madam! How may I assist you?". At this point, she did a double take, and then proceeded to explain her particular requirements as to security measures, potentially being applied to her property. Once we had concluded that a home visit by either myself or my colleague would have to be undertaken, in order to assess the situation from a technical standpoint, she confided in me thusly:

"Do you know dear, I was quite sure that I was in the wrong shop for a moment there! Its a good thing that you speak very nicely for a young hoodlum!"

Upon which utterance, and before I could voice my dismay at being so described, she left our emporium!

I live in an apartment building of mostly old people. (I'm like 'the kid' here, hehe)
Some of the old ladies look at me funny....tall, long hair, usually dressed in black...tall black leather boots, black leather coat...and FERRETS!! Eeeek!
Then I hold the door for them, speak luverly....they find out I'm not a 'vampire-lady'....
Tsk.

Jane...good tunes, hun! I love the really heavy metal stuff when I'm driving sometimes...I call it my 'therapy'. Seems I often need my 'therapy' lately. Oh well, as John and Yoko said, 'whatever gets you thru the night"....

Hehehe! I love that video of the pensioner lady hitting those fellows over the noggin with her handbag! Has to be one of the most inspiring bits of film I have ever seen!

As for driving music... I am posting using a decrepit PC at the moment, and it hates embedding video. However, I CAN name the tracks which I have enjoyed as a passenger ( so recently have I started to learn to drive, that I have not yet driven a vehicle whilst in control of the CD player!).

I like it as a traveling tune because it is dynamic, and contains the essence of speed. When you look out of the window, and the music matches pace with the speed at which you pass the features of the landscape, it does things to your autonomic nervous system, things which I find very pleasurable!
