Well Night Star! You ask a very good question. Going back two years, I was really very much in practice, because every week I would go down to a
practice studio, out the back of a motor mechanics workshop with a couple of mates, and we would rock out. Mean time, I was always playing my bass,
amped or not, when at home. Every night, I would get a minimum of an hours practice in, and I was sounding ok, even by my own standards.
These days, I am rustier than a sunken U-boat however, so I have no urge to record myself, basically sucking hard enough to start doing black hole
science using little more than four strings and an amplifier! Rest assured, when I get myself together enough that my timing, and my fingering are not
both on the trail of suck at once, I will start thinking about actually uploading some recorded stuff to youtube, using my iPad. Until then however,
you will just have to wonder!
Incidentally, just had a blast after work, which is why the reply took a little while! My apologies!
