Artists were embedded to hand draw/paint their visual experiences during WW 2.
they were known as "Specials".
I found these pieces to be amazing.
Can you imagine having a 4 x 5 foot rendition of one of these on your wall ?
It would take over the room.

Check it out:

here is the sound of a Ju-87 Stuka :

The likeness of which was used on The Wall album.
Enjoy

Thank you for the link, the paintings are incredible and to see over 50 of them in one place is almost overwhelmingly cool.

Thanks again!

Every time I see images provided by these artists, it implants such memories of being a young boy and building models of these aircrafts. I love them all, even the enemies, because it demonstrates the progress made by all sides.

Thanks O.P, I think this speaks volumes -

These two pilots, once bitter enemies, became friends after the war.

There was great respect amongst pilots on both sides, but thankfully we will never see the likes of such bravery and skill on display again.

Yes , to think that they could laugh about it together over a few beers
speaks wonders of not only the bravery of these men, but the class they had.
There is a painting of a plane that destroyed a U boat, and then circled around and
dropped a lifeboat for the survivors at sea. It doesn't get classier than that.

You know, I haven't built a model in so long that i can't remember if I enjoyed
building them more than I did watching them crash and burn.
Cheers!
