Michelle Obama: 'Young People Are Knuckleheads'

Michelle gets funny with her comments sometimes.

This time appearing on the Jimmy Fallon TV show, she claims young people are knuckleheads.

She ties this wisdom into Obama.Care.

"Well, thanks to the Affordable Care Act, young people can stay on their parents' insurance until they are 26," said the first lady of the United States. "But once they hit 26 -- they're on their own. And a lot young people think they're invincible. But the truth is, young people are knuckleheads. They're the ones who are cooking for the first time and slice their finger open, they're dancing on the bar stool."

It would be hilarious if the Right were smart enough to use this and the Affordable Care Act to reach out to the younger folk and coin the phrase "The WAR AGAINST THE YOUNG"! That the Progressives are out to screw em over!

It would at LEAST show the ridiculousness of the state of affairs we are living with in this "Politically Correct" Environment....

lmao, she's right. I was definitely a knucklehead when I was in my 20's. It's kind of like the terrible two's being the most dangerous time of a child's life because they're so prone to accident as a child is motoring about freely in the house for the first time (and getting into trouble!). 20's are like that, too, as new found freedom allows them to motor freely about the world without parental penalty and well, they can still get into trouble.

i read this as " Hey young people, sure you dont have anywhere near the opportunity to earn due to crappy wages and the ridiculous price of everything. Even though the baby boomers lived on easy street and squandered untold wealth, you youngsters need to support the health costs of those much more fortunate and lucky than you"

A lot of them are. I know there are a few risky things I did in my 20's that I totally wouldn't do now. Some young people are quite sensible though, which should be encouraged. Those thinking themselves as knowing everything shouldn't. That said, I have been more offended by the rudeness of older people recently that that of younger people.

People who defend their 2nd amendment rights? Check.
People who don't like the government forcing them to buy healthcare? Check.
People who disapprove of massive government, spending, and entitlements? Check.
People who disapprove of a president using executive orders to usurp the structure of government? Check.

Now you know how she and the president really feel. Everyone who disagrees with them is a "knucklehead."

At least she didn't say that young people are all "racist knuckleheads" for not buying into Obamacare, although that thought has probably crossed her mind.

she is profiling by age. Not all people that are young are knuckleheads like I was back then. Back in the seventies, it didn't cost an arm and a leg to go visit the doctor. Now, it seems like it has gotten way out of hand.

If you don't have insurance you don't usually go to the doctor when you get some bug unless you can't kick it. Most young people survive.

Taking responsibility for your own actions is an adult thing to do. Though, with this administration, it seems as if taking responsibility for your actions is a non-issue. The key thing to do in situations where someone needs to take responsibility is: Pass the buck. At least, that is the example our dear leader and his dog of a wife impose.

Young people are knuckleheads, only because they've never been expected to be anything more, never held to higher standards. They're under the impression that it is the Governments job to supply them with an income and housing. Where do they learn this absolute CRAP? Oh, gee golly, couldn't be the "No Child Left Behind" public schools that, literally, pass every student they can get away with, just to keep the Government funding coming.

Education needs a reform. All students do not learn the same and should be separated based on intelligence / entrance exams. Though, we'd be hearing how "racist" the program is immediately, because Deonte couldn't figure out addition when his friends were on multiplication.

I used to love this country, but now that we're Communist / Socialist, I'm ready to move on.

She just called her voting base knuckle heads .. and she's right.

Those who push ObamaCare truly do show who the 'knuckleheads' are.

As she said anyone under 26 has insurance on the mommy and daddies policy.

So why do they have to pay for insurance ?

WHY ?

Besides they probably don't have jobs to pay for insurance, and their trillion plus dollar student loan debt that her hubby cut out the middleman, and goes straight to 'mommy, and daddy government'.

As much as I despise and would love to see change to UK elections... I can say happily at least I don't have to vote for the jerk jobs who campaign in the US... I actually feel for regular Americans who are left with such decisions!!!

Hey, her and her husband can sleep at night despite what they do to people on a daily basis... I won't say because it's libel to be removed for being "off topic"... But we know, we definitely know!!!
