The problem with this is that the story is sourced from TRN, which means that your OP will likely be thrown into the hoax bin soon.
TRN is not accepted as a source at ATS.

There is one of these threads on this in the Hoax bin already. It has a different source though if I remember right.

It would be really embarrassing if this would turn out to be real...kind of depressing also.

Yes, a lot of members aren't aware of it. They put out a thread announcing when they consider a source to be untrustworthy, but if you don't see it, how are you supposed to know?

Personally, I don't like the idea, because there may be a jewel lying in the trash that we will miss.

It apparently is only accepted as a source for threads that are in the hoax bin.

Of course we can continue to discuss it, but it does have that big label... HOAX. You can surely see how that might limit interest in the thread.

This Story is so goofy,

Why would he still be working for DHS if he knows that the economy will end in early March? Why would you just not quit once that secret DHS memo came out? Also most of us have ties to people that work for banks. Most know someone be either a loan officer or a teller as an example.

HIM: Now listen carefully, stock up, and I mean stock up very good on food, guns and ammo. Because once it happens, you wont be able to buy it. Martial law will be declared, banks will have no cash, and stores will be out of food. If possible, move far away from the cities, because it is going to be like hell. And lastly, get your money out of the banks, because alot of banks are going to fail.

Why would you stock up on ammo if martial law will be emplaced? I would think they would go door to door to collect guns and ammo. Martial law is lock-down I would think if the state of the US is that bad then they would want to get guns out of peoples hands, fast.

Also If the economy implodes I would think we would see a ramp up of inflation sometime before the actual collapse. At the moment the US inflation rate stands at 1.6% far from showing a trend toward a economic collapse, in my opinion.

Broad brush.

I was speaking of research on individual threads, not the site itself. Maybe a disclaimer warning members that the site is notoriously unreliable, but to call it a hoax when that has not been proven.... who is denying ignorance in that situation? More like promoting it.

If you weren't aware, my intro was cynical and sarcastic as to the veracity of this story and other predictions about impending doom in the near future (ala Courtney Brown as reference to another thread). I therefore cannot provide updates to an event which will not happen by mid-March, despite your snide request. I was just trying to point out anothe absurdity of the plethera of ridiculous predictions made recently in the Dreams and Predictions forum. That's why this was moved to the Hoax bin. You obviously don't get the irony.
