Greetings from the deep south.

Glad to be here at ATS. I've been a distant observer for quite some time and now want to become more engaged in the process. I'm especially looking for ideas to write about on my new blog. My interests are wide and varied. I'm especially interested in ancient civilizations, conspiracy theories, politics, video games, and just about anything else that I find remotely entertaining to ponder.

Welcome to the site. I'm a northerner myself....I actually like to visit the south but don't feel at home there. Even the clouds look different in the south, the clouds here usually have flat bottoms, the ones down south are puffy and round. I think that was the thing that made me feel the most uncomfortable of all.

There's no doubt that the south features some of the best weather in the States. The laws and culture can use a little makeover though.
