A new order based on a predictable natural disaster

Hello, "Resistor" here - I think the idea of being a "Private Eye" is cool, so here is what I have been able to "sleuth" for you.

*Don't ask how I got this information*

*I don't guarantee this information to be correct, however, any info is good info if somebody is able to substantiate it*


Ok, first is a list of apparent "facts"

1) The real world is where events occur that are random, sporadic, chaotic, and lead to outcomes that are inherently unpredicable - that is sh*t happens in the real world.

2) There are different yet congruent series of eventualities that rely upon the future to be predicted, and the past reiterated to manifest "alternate realities" - they are as follows:
a) Voices in the head to an unstable individual, telepathic communication structures to those whom are granted "keys" - these range from little "news broadcasts" to socialisng and sharing information.
b) Alternate television and radio programmes, broadcast on the same channel as regular station, only accessible with the corresponding "key" - usually a simple combination of keys on the remote control coupled with small tranmitters that are purchaced and taken orally.
c) Different symbols and characters observable on printed media.
d) Special "objects" only perceptualised when "keys" are present - usually a combination of hand gestures and movement of eyes - existing in their own "managed time" essentially some fixed point in the "past"
e) Different rooms in buildings and also different regions that require "keys" to access
f) Hidden functions on personal computers and television, usually guided dreams and hallucinations.
g) Different "personalities" of "keyed" individuals that act as "shadows" when said individual is occuping a zone that related individuals have not been granted access to.

3) Alternate realities are managed by elaborate systems, and begin with simple thought train and neurological "patterns" to small devices that are purchaced and "implanted" in special "shops" - the knowledge of this generally made apparent when certain individual are inducted into these alternate worlds.

4) There is/was a small star that orbits Earth and it is complemented by a system of mirrors and relays - the "small sun" that we see as a disk in the sky being of the former, and the big bright red star being the large star that the Earth orbits. It is possible and that the small star was/is on the verge of sudden expansion, however also that it has been removed via advanced technology.
a) If it is destined to explode, then we would suffer here
b) If it has been "removed" then we might suffer as well

5) The "plan" thus being those whom are "in the know" being aware of this situation via their own channels, and the "rest of us" being kept in the dark.

Keeping these five things in mind, "we" have to "get the picture" to be "saved" and thus "return" after said events have taken place, obvisouly being various "requirements".

Obviously there would have to be either a "safe place" for the "chosen" or those "in the know" and alternativley a planned "jump" in time to the "future" when the said events have subsided.

This also involves plans to build new cities and install brand new structures for a "new world" - the "excuse" being a predictable natural disaster, as mentioned in 4)a) and 4)b) with only the "selected" being able to "cross-over."

Now that you know of these potential plans - what are you going to do - are they running another program to augment our perceptions, to prevent us from realising that the Earth is undergoing a change, stuck in a little "safe zone" until the ball drops and we are transplanted back into the "real world" to face the elements, those "chosen" already having been "saved" and the "shadows" of themselves that the rest of us see dissapearing?

My answer is to make a vow - "I will never forget this deception" - and if we survive we will remember the injustice that it was, and we will be representing what is truly fair and equal.

As an additional note, the way that "time" is acuired, and "energy" is required is that many of us are really "slaves" and when our awareness is subverted, and our perceptions are routinely diverted and re-calibrated (television) then it allows a greater "bandwidth" of time to exist for "them" - then "they" have subverted our awareness, when we "draw a blank" it adds "time" to their system, and a greater sense of "unknown variable" for them to posit possibilities from.

Now here is something funny, i could possibly be a part-time sex worker at the place where I work, im just not aware of it - and my parents could be getting paid for it!

Is there any way that we can speed it all up? To the end, I mean.

Since I don't have a television does that mean they will ignore me? Actually there are millions of folks nowadays who don't have a TV, so many it's actually become a worry for broadcasters.

So...A natural disaster has or will happen? But we've been temporarily placed in another dimension or had our time stolen so we can not see or experience that it's happened or when it does happen? Then suddenly we will be shifted into reality where everything is already devastated while those with the key will somehow be safe?

Before you said a star/sun was orbiting earth, then you said earth orbits the star. Which is it? Actually they would both orbit the common center of mass but you know what I mean. Actually something big enough to be classed as a star would have to be orbiting the sun and we would have to be orbiting the star as it and the sun orbit each other, causing us to go around the sun in a spirograph sort of way like our moon does currently. Sometimes planets would switch between suns or get swallowed whole by them... unless this great big red sun of yours is far beyond Pluto in which case I don'tuunderstand what you're getting at with the star thingy... perhaps a diagram would be in order here, and also perhaps bring some order to this thread

Parts of this thread reminded me of the Hyperion Cantos series by Dan Simmons.Minor SPOILERS ahead... Set 700-900 years in the future, artificial intelligence has separated from mankind but maintains a relationship with them, namely their government, through a holographic personality named Counselor Albedo. The AI intelligences are collectively known as the TechnoCore. Nobody knows where the physical mainframes exist. Some speculate they are in another galaxy. The TechnoCore provided wondrous technologies like transport portals known as Farcasters that you can set up between two planets and walk through one to instantaneously appear coming through the other side.

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD...
It has been 4 years at least since I read it and I'm not sure if I understand it correctly, but from my understanding, here goes....
It turns out the TechnoCore was stealing "CPU power" from each human brain for a millisecond each time one passed through a Farcaster, and humans numbered in the range of 70 billion so there was always someone walking through one. One example of a rich guys house has Farcasters set up between doorways of his house so different rooms were located in different parts of the galaxy. His bathroom was like set up on a pole in a water world so as he used the toilet he was surrounded by ocean, but raised up above the waves of course. No windows needed cause they have force fields so all his walls of his bathroom were force fields that you can see through better than glass. He could've had it underwater if he wanted.

So from what i understand, the TechnoCore mainframes were just existing in the brains of humans. I believe they gave them Farcaster technology before they "separated" from mankind. And waited till enough were using it. It seemed similar to what you said about how time was stolen from us. An interesting concept. And a wonderful book. My very favorite book actually. Actually it's a series of 4 books. Then he did like a side plot in a short story. A movie may be in the makings last time i heard but i fear it will be disappointing. They will need to give it much more attention than LOTR or the Matrix in order to get it right. The series was so good in my opinion that it basically made me give up my dream of writing novels someday, because I could never do better than this. Oh, I will still write. Just maybe not novels and definitely not Sci Fi. But you never know, I might come up with a worthy idea someday. Let's just say I was in awe for like...I don't even remember how much time had passed before I was normal again. Months? Years? I also like David Brin quite a bit! Of course we cannot forget about William Gibson or ummm...The guy who wrote Anathem and Snowcrash .. Neal Stephenson!

Anyway I wish you had returned to enrich this thread with some feedback on your feedback. Maybe you were just waiting for me... yeah I could see that... people often make threads around here and then spend the next day or two nervously anticipating my input before daring to continue. Well you have my blessing son, you may continue.

Oh just one last thing... two totally unrelated questions: where do you work? We seem similar and I'm having a hard time deciding my career path is all... and also, how can i transfer funds to your parents? They seem like they could use a little help with groceries is all... oh one last thing, are you hot? Ah, forget it. Doesn't matter. Just answer those first two questions asap. I'm feeling very um well shall we say "eager" to um get started on a career path and begin uh- what was that other thing i made up? Oh yeah- pitching in around the house with that "grocery money" I mentioned earlier.

Isn't Naruto a show? An animated one to be specific? Along the lines of Dragon Ball Z? I'm willing to accept they may use real techniques in their show but I'd love to hear more about what you're talking about. I don't think op will mind if we keep this thread going for a bit since they seem to be having a momentary lapse of...something. "They" must've stolen a LOT of time from OP this time... perhaps as punishment for this thread? OP will suddenly come back to reality when most of the continent op lives on is buried under a few miles of ice sheets...surrounded by ice and unable to move...

There will be a powerfuk hair dryer plugged in just a few inches away from OPs hand but they will be unable to reach it...and since dna has to be allowed to decay before a spirit can "move on" to the other side, OP will remain for thousands and thousands of years trapped in the ice after their body dies since the dna will be preserved until the ice thaws. But then the poles will shift again and ops house will be the new north pole so a whole other civilization will be going on while ops spirit roams deep below the ice, tethered to the dna by an unknown radius. Until one day an explorer named Xavius Yooleeseez Zanderhoff will "discover" the north pole and then op will be able to jump into the body of the Explorer causing him to have split personalities and go a little looney.

One minute he will be just fine and the next will be muttering to his colleagues about regretting something called a "thread on ay tee ess" and be complaining that society needs to hurry up and invent something called "toilet paper"... A theory will be devised that there is something about the poles that cause a person to go mad. It will be called Polar Madness, and because of this, people will be afraid to go near the poles for another hundred and seventy years. But at least then Ops spirit will be able to "move on to the other side".

The principle is remarkably simple, what we call the "all seeing eye" is a holographic implant in the retina. Basicaly, then you understand the "knack" you can temporarily avert your awareness to a different "slice" of reality, and this is done with a tangible dexterous expression that simultaneously equates into "poking your eyes out".

I also do believe that various other implants are available, for example, if the system of "vision" is a common matrix, then, potentially you can also purchace hollogrammatic disks that create an optical illusion for others to see - "avatars" if you will.

We are basically assuming that there is the "Red Giant" that Earth and the other major planets orbit, however, there is also some kind of "small star" that orbits the Earth, supported by what I believe to be a system or reflectors and relays - also responsible for another "reality matrix" that was refered to as the "Golden Age" back in its time.

In 4)a) and 4)b) I was referring to the "small star" - such an object if close to Earth and situated correctly would only be a couple of miles wide to provide adequate light.

You know, friend, I had a strange dream that the devastation had occured or at least a major war, and the new world had been introduced.

I woke up under a tree, and basically I was half-buried - I managed to dig myself out - and there were these kind of "youth hostels" that had dorms and showers, obviously the younger generation that were "spared" - I also had a dream that I was in a brand new "appartment complex".
