Ninth Circuit holds Second Amendment secures a right to carry a gun

If you live in a country where you feel that one must carry a gun for their own safety, there's something wrong with that country.

I just don't get that

You ever spend any time in the Rockies, or the Cascades, or the Appalachian Mtns or anywhere else that has apex predators? That concept includes certain parts of cities, as well...

I really must agree here. I grew up in the "wilds" of Southern California, which had it's own definition of Apex Predator, but vacationed to my father's preferences in places like a small campground outside Forks of the Salmon, Ca (think wayyyyyy out in the back country, where it was and may still be a one lane paved road in and out of that area). The idea of being unarmed in that environment is accepting yourself to become dinner at the whim of another critter's decisions. Errr.. Nope. No Thanks.

I have a simple gun control policy, personally. Guns do wonders to control the more wild side of mother nature. Also, if there are guns around, I'll absolutely be in control of at least one of them.
