Is hollywood turning their back on Michael Moore? Say it isn't so. He is my hero!

Once again, I want to thank Michael Moore for helping get President Bush re-elected. You mobilized the voters, and helped the "get out the vote" effort.
I hear you are planning another Farenheit 9/11 "documentory". Will it be ready for the 2008 elections, or better yet the 2006 mid-term elections? I sure hope so!

The guy is very good at turning a misconcepted conspiracy into flat out truth.

The fact that he is a liar is also true.

Let's hope he never does one on "Kerry's Vietnam Days."

The Republicans would never get a vote for public office for a very long time.

Whoops! That's not funny! Sorry people!

Micheal Moore is good for a laugh. I like his movies and a book of his a read a while back. But he is very...only... one sided. He tells the story with his slant on it. Sure, theres got to be some truth in there, but you can't take it for anything more than entertainment.

Sure, I like slamming Republicans as much as the next guy, but I'd glady do the same to Democrats if they were in power. I really don't care whos in power, they are all going to do something you don't agree with, but hey, they're in power, your not.

It'd would be nice if Bush would quit blowing things up for a while and screw some intern. Thats good for a laugh, Iraq... not so much.

The story is FAR more interesting in the subtext.

Here, for ironical reasons, is the entry on the "Frigid 50" for prize idiot George W Bush, fake "president" of the Divided States:

43. GEORGE W. BUSH
His presidency may have seen the loss of millions of jobs, but in the film business there was plenty of work to be found on a seemingly endless number of documentaries that skewered the White House resident and his right wing allies in savage full-frontal attacks. Never in U.S. history has a sitting president inspired so much angry film production.
Anti-Freeze: Four more years! Hey, it will keep Michael Moore rich and employed.

Note the number he is assigned.

I think Moore is no doubt the fattest on the list, but his stuff is incendiary and his career is assured, unlike criminal presidents codenamed "Temporary" by their Skull & Bones frat houses.

Is this really interesting at all?

Wait, I know, you "thought it was" and figured, "Hey, I am going to post this as a real topic in an area where people are supposed to be having meaningful conversation. Then we can really get down to brass tacks".

Right?

I'm wondering if the homeless, the poor, the overtaxed, and the struggling in this country can rest assured that out there people are really conversing because they want to make a difference.

Please don't let them read this thread.

I apologize if you already have. You might be able to cleanse yourself with a bit a reading and some introspective thought.

I've hated Michael Moore ever since Bowling for Columbine. Farenheit 9/11 didn't have anything that you couldn't read in the newspapers over the past 4 years anyway, just compiled into a good piece of propaganda. The nation needs to learn to think for themselves, not jump on one bandwagon or another. Sadly I wonder if this is possible.

I doubt it, because what makes human constructions work well, is typically what takes them down.

In this case, our real innovation, is in optimization.

We have streamlined the political machines like we would a movie, court case, Medicine, and products in general.

We have created a more convinient society than anyone has ever seen. We have access to Twinkies, condoms, soda, coffee, gas, porn, TV 24 hours a day.

We can't be expected to really follow the currents of politics. This mind-taxing activity takes much too long.

I do think that it has always been this way, but it seems to rise slowly but surely until to spikes near the end.
