while you are correct in that quote which I did miss which is referring to LIFETIME PREVALENCE, the numbers for the last year all look higher for the vaccinated children...

The proportion of children and adolescents who had had pertussis, measles, mumps, and/or rubella was much higher in unvaccinated children than in those who had been vaccinated against the respective disease to a sufficient extent.

Vaccinations work against the diseases they are meant to work against.

But you can keep believing the distortions of your sources if you want to.

In spite of any attempt to rule out misclassifications we cannot entirely exclude the possibility that some children without a vaccination card were vaccinated without adequate documentation. A systematic question regarding this issue will therefore be included in future KiGGS studies.

Study data regarding diseases may also depend on people’s ability to remember and on the assessment of those surveyed as well as on a medical diagnosis. We therefore cannot completely rule out that the true prevalence may be over- or underestimated.
