If it will rid us of New York City, DC, and Chicago it can't be too bad.

Too bad this wont rid the world of the banking elite, corporate media and
political cronies! Someday maybe something else will!

The Nat Geo map says IF the ice melted. Not WHEN the ice melts. It is theoretical.

This is based on if not when, the OP stated this as the case but the title is misleading a little, I suppose that's just as forgivable as me nitpicking though
... also it doesn't take into account tectonic plate shifts which could save the land that will supposedly flood.

Most importantly this source comes from NewsCorp so it's probably the furthest thing from the truth.

Like many others said we'll see an Ice Age before the Big Melt!
That's the evolution of Earth as it has been and will always be.

NewsCorp!!!

Peace.

It has been an average of 15 degrees where I live for almost a month. One day it was -16 below when I woke up--and that wasn't wind chill.

It snows everyday.

This is not normal for this area.

It has been the worst winter ever--with a storm a week. Another storm is coming on Thursday.

So, from my vantage point.....who knows if the ice is really going to melt?

On the plus side I won't need to keep filing my aquariums as the ocean will do it for me. I always said Disney needed to put a park in the middle of illinois.

Well, not too happy with that. I would need snorkelling equipment by the looks of it. Not too bad for the Gulf of Mexico or similar but not so much fun in the North Sea......

Looks like i need to come up with a Bond super villain type plan to erupt a super volcano or two and get a bit of global cooling in action. Mwa ha ha.

Well I'll tell you what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna get out the hairdryer and an extension cord or two, because I've found the soon to be uncovered land where I am going to live. This is pretty cool, although I have seen similar maps in the past. Actually, I don't remember having ever seen one that depicted the entire earth like this.

Why move to the beach, when the beach can move to you.

Nope, Ill still be tucked away nice and snug near the mountains in Alberta... Might have thought it would have brought the West coast closer... but I guess not?

More fearmongering from the Global Warming/Climate Change cult. It makes the mind weary.

Oh wait, I know! Let's pay more taxes! That'll fix it!

You're ignorant to not believe the icecaps are melting. Where is all the water going to go? Is it going to disappear? That'd make sense for you because you clearly deny practical science.
