Best post on the whole thread.
Quality...NOT...Quantity!!!
The arrogance is astonishing... and if it wasn't for the good people of the US is happily grab some popcorn for the decimation of the nation
altogether.
Thankfully there is a great bunch across the pond who deserve better than utter destruction...the only hope is that arrogant are culled internally to
return America to the great country full of greater people that it can be.
Back to Iran's "incapabilities" that's a dangerous game to play.
Much like Iraq being shamed by a country enthralled in revolution, just like China controlling Asia despite Japan's attempts to take over a country
who were busy with a 40 year civil war.
A busy country may not be as easy to take over despite their problems.
Iran are no longer battling themselves... American troops are busy on about 4 different continents.
I know that sounds contradictory but it's a completely different type of "busy" that they can hardly put on hold while they deal with an
intrusion.
Also people are assuming Iran would be alone... I feel Japan surely wouldn't mind a chance at revenge, Russia have put the US firmly in their place a
few times in the last couple of year, including Syria & Georgia namely.
The only thing stopping this happening, most probably is China saying "hold your horses, we want out money first...once we've been paid we'll
discuss the next stage!" North Korea would have no choice but to side with Asia & Russia, and probably wouldn't be too discouraged about having a go
anyways.
People seem to think that because America has the most nukes(maybe) that they would have any bearing on a present day conflict.
Given UN Sanctions and the like within the International community it's unlikely they would even be allowed or have the balls to use them knowing the
repercussions will not be the same as 60yrs ago.
Overall it is probably just Iran saying "we are allowed out here with our navy as well" and nothing more.
Especially not a threat, when at the moment they are under the microscope so to speak. They're probably not urgently looking for conflict just
yet!
Peace.
