most people don't even reply to these "workers" on this site any more. anybody that knows the details about what has really happened and/or is happening with Fukushima, has moved way past commenting on the Japan threads and is long gone. i still recommend the Japan mega thread for the documented series of events as they unfolded. there is no turning the situation around no matter how sweet certain heads try to make it sound. the point where it first turned to disgust for me was when the USA raised the "allowable amount" of radiation exposure deemed safe for humans literally, days after the disaster happened. sick, sick world. maybe i am all for "doom porn" when it comes to Fukushima...just as long as those responsible perish with the rest of us!

Can you provide a source for that? An original source that is.

Kinda fun watching what seems to be a mini flag war. A bit disappointing (but expected) to see the one with the misleading title doing so well. Not that it is about winning, as it is not, It is about where this sites proverbial "head" is at lately.

Amusing regardless, as simple logic defies so many. Fun to see you playing for a minute though.

Ok Phage, I'll add a few other sources regarding Cesium being found in the US Coastal waters.

It's a shame I'm not able to show you any further MSM media sources but they all state that the radiation levels will be safe.

Ocean simulations showed that the plume of radioactive cesium-137 released by the Fukushima disaster in 2011 could begin flowing into U.S. coastal waters starting in early 2014 and peak in 2016.

It's already happening.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency, which monitors food safety, says it is aware of the numbers but says the amounts of cesium detected are small.

"Approximately 60 per cent of fish have shown to have detectable levels of radionuclides," it said in an emailed statement.

According to the Global Research Report, recent tests in California have unearthed contaminated blue-fin tuna in nearby coastal waters. It is believed that the contaminated water has finally reached the western coastline due to the growth of radioactive iodine levels which are now 200 times what they were two years ago. In addition, the caesium-137 level has also gone up along the California, Oregon and Washington coasts, discovered in local mushrooms and berries. Residents have also noted that the number of bird deaths has risen. In Alaska, the sockeye salmon population has declined apparently due to radionuclides as well.

I found the following blog very interesting, and whilst I'm sure some of the points could be debunked, the amount of evidence suggesting an ongoing disaster is vast. The Pacific Ocean is dying, and whilst this can not be blamed completely on Fukushima, the consequence of dead zones in the ocean and the US navy killing ocean life with the sonar weapon, the disaster is Fukushima has been the final nail in the coffin.

The mass bird die offs could be caused by birds eating radiated fish stock and dropping dead and then perhaps the land animals eat these dead birds. It's a food chain. I'm not saying this is the case, but could be a possibility. I could supply you with a list of mass die offs in the last twelve months. It's staggering and yet no MSM news agency taking up the story and joining the dots.

I remember when Chernobyl happened and how many sheep and cows had to be destroyed in Scotland due to the radiation in the grass. The number of children born with deformities in Scotland was a national disgrace and yet hardly ever spoke about. The fact is Fukushima has realised so much more than Chernobyl that anyone saying it's not damaging the world is crazy.

Why is that a shame? Do you want there to be unsafe levels of radiation?

Your first source:

Since a tsunami and earthquake destroyed the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant last March, radioactive cesium has consistently been found in 60 to 80 per cent of Japanese fishing catches each month, as tested by Japan's Fisheries Agency.
It's talking about fish imported from Japan.

Your second source gives me a malware warning but I know what it's talking about. It's talking about tuna which migrate across the Pacific. Yes, they have been found to have trace amounts of cesium. That's actually to be expected. Bluefin tuna spawn in waters around Japan.

Your "interesting" blog:

The west coast of the United States is being absolutely fried by radiation from the Fukushima nuclear disaster
No. It isn't. www.abovetopsecret.com...

How can you say for certainty that the radiation from Fukushima is not a disaster that will affect the very least everyone in the northern hemisphere? Where are you getting your information from?

I'm an educated person and would not just believe in something for the sake of it, but as you seem to know more about this subject than any other ATS member, explain the mass die off in the Pacific Ocean.

No need to be Pedantic, what sane person wants there to be radiation. I wanted a MSM source as all other sources don't seem acceptable to you. And your response debunking each source I gave you proves my point.

Why do you feel so strongly about disproving this? Scientist have said the Cesium will reach the US Coast by 2014, it's happening or will defiantly happen very soon. What do you think people gain by saying there is more to this story than the MSM is telling us?

I don't. But do I feel strongly about separating fact from fabrication.

I have no idea. What do you think people gain by claiming that December 21, 2012 was some big deal? What do you think people gain by claiming that a comet is going to destroy us and "they" are hiding it from us?

Attention... which means either stroking their ego, else monies.

The rest are just agents of propaganda.

The radiation is minute. People need to get a clue.

Is it your belief that the radiation from Fukushima will have no ill effect on the world despite still spewing radiation into the oceans each day?

If Fukushima were a book, we'd still be on page 1 right now..... no one can make a conclusion about Fukushima based on unknown factors. Fukushima's situation could change with out notice at any given time......you can only draw final conclusion from a finished event.... you will see a lot of stuff saying scientist think this or scientist think that might happen.

I said this once and will say this again too.....An educated guess by the smartest man in the world is just that.... a guess until it is proven to be a fact.

Whilst I concur with your comments, it's obvious to me the TPTB would benefit from keeping the facts of this disaster away from the sheeple. We will never be told the truth.

What concerns me is the magnitude of the disaster should have had an international response and headed by the UN, but it's being left in the hands of a corporation to deal with. Not very comforting to me ;(

I have no reason at this time to think it will cause worldwide problems (or even problems on the west coast of North America).

Is it your belief that making unsubstantiated claims and spreading rumor about the scope of the disaster are beneficial?

I'm not spreading rumours. I read an article and created a thread to discuss.

Until now I believed you were also having discussion but accusing someone of having an agenda to spread rumours etc means you are someone I will not waste time conversing with again.

I could make assumptions about your agenda on this topic. Perhaps your a Shill and paid to derail topics such as these.

I'm not spreading rumours.

I didn't mean to imply that you did. However, your source(s) has done so.

I wish there could be one Fukashima thread on this ... ' IDIOT PSYCHOPATHIC NUKE-HEADS DO IT AGAIN ! '

News at 11 ( or whenever there is any ). On Fantasy Island , a midget screams , ' THE PLUME , THE PLUME ! ' ... but , the damn thing never seems to get there .

Not sure how to take your post. If your saying there is no evidence to this OP, then read the links. The evidence has been available since 2012 that radiation from Japan has already arrived on US shores either via the atmosphere or oceans.

All I can do is try to laugh. I am completely ( 100 % ) anti -nuke. Especially the power plants , which IMHO will kill us all ( this year or in a thousand ).

Japanese nuke - plant builders aren ' t the only dummies ... Palo Verde plant near Phoenix is directly upwind of a major population center ( of course ). The location of many plants makes me think they are part of another ingenious nuclear industry invention : Mutually Assured Destruction. Morons !

I often say ( and get flak for it ) that all people involved in nukes are idiots or psychopaths . Can't tie their own shoes , or consider their work ' Godlike '. That sort of thing...

Anyway , the whole ' wall ' seems to be crashing down around us now - and Fukee won ' t be the brick that gets ya ' .
