I would reply No and I'll rebuke it in the Name of Jesus.

(King James Bible) Mark 8:36
36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Yeah, it doesnt happen very often anymore. Only when I pursue and learn the Biblical secrets of the Angelic Conflict. Their cheap magic tricks don't scare me anymore and so they've backed off for the time being. Nevertheless, I know they are always watching and always conspiring.

HELL NO!!!

It's sad to see how many people would willingly risk exposing their soul for a little temporary boost that will amount to nothing once it's all said & done.

There is no such thing as "no strings attached" assistance from that realm - everything has a price.

since the possibility was acknowledged in the OP, we've acknowledged it as well. What's life without a little risk?

Some risks are worth taking

Some are not

You need to evaluate the cost vs. the benefit...

In this case...the answer for me is a very clear "not worth the risk"

This already happens daily with millions of people.. There are those things just on the other side of the fence, but they can still influence you, and depending on how you deal with temptation is the result of each encounter. I have seen these effing things a few times, and when you do, you know what they represent, no mistake. I am not joking here,. One looked like a big humanoid frog with velvet gloves and a golden belt and some sort of fancy material as a cloak. It was playing people's emotions with temptation just like a musician plays a piano. It was grinning the entire time because it was having success with many people.

They are allways tempting and putting thoughts and desires trying to push people just over the top so they will do whatever it is. When people accept that, they are enlisting the help of demons. Like it or not, believe it or not, that is the deal.
The blame ultimately is with all of us when you accept temptation, and do the thing.

How do demons get away with this so easy? Because people cave in to feelings easier than their logic.

Actual possession happens when you are so fully accepting to serious evil ways, like pedophilia with murder and murder, people that have gone to those extremes have seen the presence of evil creatures, because they WILL begin to show themselves.
Their ultimate goal to keep you doing the stuff until you are destroyed by it,(which doesn't take that long).

To some they have actually presented themselves as personal assistants to do your bidding and wreak havoc on other people for you. They enjoy it more than people can even know. Why? because they know that they have you totally fooled into believing they care about you, but they laugh at your self destruction. Evil is actually pretty darned evil, you know?
eventually they try to get their victim to "join" their special team, and they offer wealth, power, women, anything you ask them for you will get it guaranteed, but after a time, you will die and discover your soul being escorted somewhere that you will be screaming trying to get away from.. Too late. Then the things you thought you were helping, can feast upon the negative energy that torturing you generates for them.. Everything cuts, burns, rips, just like the physical body but the soul just pops back like new and ready for more agony.

okay, so, for fun, let's just entertain that there is actually such a thing as some super power spirit things that con control people.

What would they want?

If possessing my body had anything to do with any deal, then, no thank you.
However, if they offered service while playing puppet master to other bodies, well, that could be tempting.

Thing is, I don't ever see anyone with super powers flying around, shooting lasers out of their eyes, saving the day, acting like super villains, or anything even slightly amazing above and beyond what could be expected from a highly trained and disciplined regular human.

Thus, there's no real evidence for any such thing.
There's plenty of evidence for people with mental illness expression that lots of superstitious people still believing in chicken sacrifice, ghosts and other stuff from the middle ages will point at and claim (in their expert medical opinion based on a middle ages understanding of medicine) it's demons.

Not the case though.

Still, let's just pretend there actually was a Genie in a Bottle somewhere.
What would I wish for?

Well, that all depends on the conditions and rules of the game right?

Mythology typically plays the rules out similar to equating to "Every Wish/Service Granted will return a Consequence (usually ironic) of equal value."

Wish for a pilot's license and you might suddenly find yourself in the cockpit of a flaming Biplane during WWI in a death spiral.
Wish to be an astronaut and you might suddenly find yourself aboard the doomed Challenger, or Columbia space shuttle during one of THOSE flights and catastrophes.

Yeah, so, hmmm.
It's fun to think about, but, unless the rules were guaranteed free of consequence, satisfaction obligatory, fully refundable for more wishes and/or returnable as well as Indemnity where wishes can be traded for or sold for any other item/service of equal value, where the whole show has greater value than risk with very low risk and safety measures covering that, as well as insurance covering that too, then, I really wouldn't be interested in a game that might have rules way beyond anything even comprehensible.

But, since none of that exists, well, there's a reason Movies, and Book Adventures were invented.
If magical spooky things that had super powers were actually real, they'd have Magical Mystery Walmart, get your fantasies fulfilled by bulk super stores all over the planet, and doing business better than any business extant and thriving today.

Since none of that exists, then, these things are the products of superstition and fantasy.
I'll go read a book about them ... or, perhaps, author a novel myself.

schmeh.

I think I would take honest malevolence over informed benevolence any day. From what I've read, angels seem to have a habit of telling people what terrible things are going to happen to them, and then standing by to watch impassively. Asking for divine assistance in anything often gets plenty of people nowhere, and that includes information on what exactly they're doing wrong. (Not enough psychic energy behind their "worship" transmissions is my guess.) But with demons, you get action, for better or worse. They're even capable of acting generous and compassionate. The rest of the human and spirit world has a lot to live up to next to them.

I have had divine assistance a lot of times, it takes patience and other virtues like mercy on your part and mercy from the divine. Maybe your methods haven't been pure of heart.. Impureness of heart is a lot easier isn't it? That is because of weakness of the body that screams for all kinds of things overloading our logic circuits. What has a better payoff in the end? the Divine ! The malevolent pays off with things better left unsaid, or simply disbelieve it which is so much easier, or in other words, do what ever you feel like doing, and hope that everything turns out good in the morning. Yeah, that's really using our brains../sarcasm haha

What if a demon possesed you and offered its services to aid you, would you accept the offer?

Considering the nature of the divine in the Bible I'd probably prefer it was a demon.

Lets say if you are an athiest, how do you feel about demonic spirits?

A feeling of indifference?

No. And when a person allows some kind of connection, this means lower dimensionals are putting hooks in you and opening a portal to you and your loved ones. You close the door firmly. Compassion is an entirely different thing, having love and praying for them, asking for intercession from the true Love and Goodness Higher Ups to remove them from your home and family and to take them to a place where they can progress, turn things around in safety from the ohters, for their highest good as well. But close the door on all communications.

You don't need to be "possessed" in order to operate with demons. I consort with what many consider to be "demons" as well as what they would call "angels". To me, they are the same thing.

A fire can burn or keep you from freezing to death just as an apple can either fend off starvation or choke you to death. Demons and angels are only light and dark; not good and evil.

These beings predate recorded history and can not be placed in the box of the Abrahamic faiths nor any new age philosophy. They are the preternatural avatars of varying concepts on the other side and have been given many different names since time began. Should you accept their help? You already have and do every day. Asking for their help or serving them are very different matters.

Good advice already here from BELIEVERpriest, alienreality, coldkidc, and Night Star.

Belcastro

No.

Belcastro
what if it was no strings attached?

That's not how they operate. They may say or convince you that there are no strings attached, but there always are. Lying is their specialty.

Belcastro
What if demons were misunderstood beings; as in what if the average perception of a demon is all wrong?

Demons aren't humans. They're not muddled in confusion between right and wrong. Their intent in singular and has to be for the master they serve.

Belcastro
are they really fallen angels?

Yes, and by their choice.

Belcastro
or perhaps they are the Gods of old and other mysterious religions?

No, anyone can test this as I did, but I would not recommend it. Once you open that door you cannot get rid of them yourself.

Belcastro
Lets say if you are an athiest, how do you feel about demonic spirits?

I was aggressively agnostic not believing anything until I saw it. Then, I saw it, they made up my mind for me.

Belcastro
or if you are religious, do you condemn demons?

Not in my own name or under my own power. Through Christ, they are condemned.

Belcastro
What if there really are spirits, would you welcome them into your life or would you shun them?

They are spirits of sorts, demons are not welcomed anywhere near my life anymore and they know it.

I would be interested in testing it. Should come as quite a curious observation that demons answer where God stays silent. Hmm, curious indeed...
