Yay!

I'll bring sausage rolls, pork pies and those little sticks with cheese and pineapple.

P.S, I'm tapping my watch and giving you a stern look over my thin rimmed specs.

Hows the painting coming on?

Cheese and pineapple...nomnom...I'll make the cocktail onion ones!

*looks sheepish*....it's coming along in fits and starts.....got people calling for bits I've freegled, sold on eBay and need to get to post office to send off some LP's! So it's washed down and just drying off before I attack it with the English Yellow base coat. Trying to get all the hardware off it at the moment!

Best laid plans of mice and men as they say!

It's frustrating actually with the minor interruptions because I was all psyched up to make a day of it. Thank goodness this paint takes next to no time to dry...I'm determined to get both coats on before the end of today. That way I can do all the detailed contrast colours tomorrow, and the waxing and putting back together on Saturday.

Sounds like a plan!

I know what you mean about interuptions lol, As soon as I was ready to go out and get the garden in order it started peeing down. I think I'll have to go to Youtube-school instead.

Your assignment today is to do one coat, if you go above and beyond you can have a gold star. I think I'd make a good teacher.

And now it's sunny again. I can't win!

It's your own fault for being so popular!

Is your day going as well as planned? I wish I could wake up with half your energy. It would take so much strain off the percolator!

Welsh teachers are renowned the world over for being the best! Not many people know that!

My hardware is proving to be a bit of a stubborn biatch! One more handle to go!

That's my Freegle'd item collected....so off on my bike to Post Office while my 'bits' dry off!

THEN....PAINT....Mwahahahaha....can't wait!

Well, I got quite a bit done this morning that I had been meaning to do around the shop, so thats a plus. Served some customers, secured an order for a considerable number of high security padlocks, which should be quite lucrative when it comes to fruition, and I am looking at getting a display board completed after I finish my lunch hour. I was working on it on Tuesday, but I got interupted because things went mental at work for a bit.

As for energy in the morning... I recommend leaving a window ajar at night so that the bedroom gets good and frosty by the morning. The reason? When I throw back the sheets, I shoot out of bed like a rocket, and start getting things done, because otherwise I would go into massive thermal shock!
Sometimes being completely and utterly bonkers has advantages !

I knew the Welsh had to be good at something!

Have fun painting.

so off on my bike to Post Office while my 'bits' dry off!

^^^Bit early in the morning for all that isn't it?

Cody! Good Afternoon! I'm back to my usual silly self, I've had a day of coffee, Shakespear and ATS. I caught myself chuckling in the bathroom and I don't even know why, is that normal? Enjoy picking on your new boss!

True! Kudos on being so productive! I feel guilty now though, I keep thinking I'm going to put my laundry in after this fag. The ashtray is slowly filling up and the washing machine stays empty. I'm going to do it after this post. I mean it this time.

As for the window being open, I would feel imprisoned if it weren't. I only used to shut them if I had the radio blasting.

It's my neighbours I feel sorry for, they hear everything else. I've been clapping and stamping to Youtube tutorials today, bursting out into witch-like cackling and telling myself off every time I click the wrong tab. Still, I don't listen to DnB so I think they should be quite grateful.

Well, I make up for it by doing bugger all when I am at home of an evening, or on my day off. The most I get up to then, is a very rare foray into DIY (putting up bookshelves, and a guitar bracket, which I did on Tuesday), and a less rare, although necessary clearance of the crime scene that is my bedroom, and dealing with the resultant wash load.

Other than those small efforts, and the manic panic that is work life, I tend to just mooch about at friends places, or occasionally end up in a pub. Both involve fairly drastic liver abuse, but everyone needs a hobby!

Nothing wrong in having a day off...my week end was Monday and Tuesday.....I might not get another day off for 10 days or so. I'm lucky I work from home for the most part, so I can keep an eye on here during fag breaks and the such like.....

First coat nearly done, miss.

Hi guys
Home from work here

After yesterdays tirade at that idiot, he was super nice to me today, until a small incident this afternoon, so I'm sure a verbal warning is on the way, but hell it's my first one ever and only stays on record for 6 months. Bollocks to him.

He came into the workshop today, I quote "I request and require a man to go to site to fix a problem we have (his cock up) who wants to go ?" Cue dead silence,

Muppet: "Cody you'll have to do it"

Me: The only place I'm going when I walk out that door is home Tim

Muppet: Then I suggest you go

Me: Only on full pay for the rest of the day, with a written guarantee signed by your good self

Muppet: I'm your boss and I'm ordering you to go

Me: Order a Chinese for all I care, my contract is, as every body in here to stay in the workshop and produce product. None of us have required certification to work on site, neither have had the obligatory induction so we'd be working unlawfully, You're not asking us to do something unlawful because of a cock up you made are you Tim?

Could I suggest you send a fitter to do a fitter's job ? Wayne is sat at home on his hands with nothing to do, and getting paid for it.

Muppet exit stage left

The point being that in order to activate a fitter he has to go through his boss and explain why

Yes I am looking for a new job, but I'm gonna have so much fun with guy in the meantime

I was just reading back through

Realised I said I'd passed the pilot's course,

apologies I meant the tests to go on the pilots course, sorry if you were mislead, that wasn't my intention, on another note my daughter just passed the same tests so my son tells me.

She starts her national service this year, I just hope what I taught her sticks, and she goes into something else, the thought of her launching missiles at people makes me feel like a failed father, my son will let me know what she decides to do.

I trust her to make the correct decision, but there's always a tiny bit of doubt.
