I used to have hair just like that until I got cancer and had to start all over again.
It's at least past my damned shoulders now.

Well... I have no idea how to centre an image. Aside from that, I like the background a little sketchy, bit more going on than nothing, without being distracting. A little chaos, a little order, not one or the other, but a little of both. But centering the image would be handy I guess!

Don't suppose you happen to know how to do something like that do you?

Near enough every female asks me that at some point... it is a pain in the butt to get my hair straight again after a proper braiding!!

I always loved the waves I'd get after having it braided a while. All you have to do is put a wet comb through it to get the waves out.

Sorry, I'm not technically inclined. You'll have to wait for Gordi.

Thing is, I am the overlord of split ends. As a man, I have no problem with that what so ever, but it does mean that putting a wet comb through my braided hair, is like trying to put a marshmallow through a wall. It is not going to happen!

Been almost a few years now so it is past my shoulders thank God. Yeah that was a tough time for me for sure. We have a number of members here who either have or have had cancer. I always rush into those threads with my love and support every step of the way. I know what it's like to be scared and vulnerable and not knowing what to expect. Makes it a lot easier to share with someone who's been there.

That's all behind me now I hope. I do worry that it might return as we all do who have had cancer. But I've also been hit by a mini van as a pedestrian, had severe contusions, broken leg, nerve damage to another leg, screwed up arm and I lived through that. Had a schizo boyfriend as a teenager who pulled a gun on me and lived through that. LOL Guess I'm around for a reason.

Yeah, I bet it does! I think that is probably why there are survivors groups, and support networks for all manner of traumas and experiences. The benefit of support of those who know the precise issues involved, intimately, is well founded, no matter the causative factor. I am glad that you have that, and I am glad you give your support to others. It must have been terrible to go through what you did, but that you go back into it, just to support your fellow human beings is testament to your strength.

Maybe he/she went to work already. Should have stayed home all warm and snug. LOL

Yeah, we're supposed to be getting another 4-5 inches tonight, and if I didn't have a client call at 8:00am, I'd probably stay home. Better that I'm at the office though, as my voice booms, and I don't have a mute button on my machine here at home (When in tech support, you never underestimate the power of the mute button).

I'll have to get up early as it is, just so I can beat out all of those drivers that seem to think that all-wheel drive is going to save them on the roads. But, on the flip side, my nightly commute shouldn't be a mess, as the temps are rising for tomorrow.

And Night Star, I didn't head off to work yet - I'm a 9-5'er
Or in this case more like a 5-5'er. For tonight though, I get to curl up in bed, watch the snow fall, and wonder why it is that my cat is trying to attack my nose when I try to sleep.

Seeing as it looks like you both are still on - Night Star, TrueBrit, have a goodnight! Don't let the pixies, dragons, bananas, ferrets, or Slenderman bite (oh, and don't look up Slenderman, nor watch the youtubes on him, else you'll be on here all night - it's not a bedtime topic).
