Valentine Greetings

Uuugh....help! I nearly went and joined in on the I Hate Valentine thread!
Some idiot sent me a txt this am....a rather saucy/naughty valentine. No idea who they are. The txt in itself was OK except they called me Janey...only my dad ever called me that...that is what upset me.

Anyways, tonight, as I chose not to respond to the morning txt...I have now received more txt's. Pushing more buttons which proved this person really doesn't know me, I have responded, in as nice a way as possible, telling this person they have upset me and calling them a 'sick f***' and asking them to please leave me alone....so now I am apparently a dried up old trout!

It's scared me tbh

That must be some radical tea!

They used to serve some very strange blends at rock festivals, but they cracked right down on that sort of thing about four years ago. There are less tent fires and accidents nowadays!

I can't get txt's blocked.
That's what I'm trying to figure.....can't think of anything out of place so to speak....

Incidentally, the sky tried to steal my bin just now... twice. Its ok though, I snuck up on it and theived it back. Bloody atmosphere, always taking liberties with the little guys!

I'd like to invite you all to pour a glass, put on your shmekiest outfits and lounge around and listen to ATS live After Midnight, what better way to spend Valentines Day than hear Semperfortis and I squabbling on air....

Would be great fun if you call in and wish each other a Happy VD.

Good lord!

You should be able to screen a number from your entire phone, if I recall correctly. I had to do it recently to prevent a certain someone from contacting me again... very horrid business all round, but I know it works. If you are really concerned, get in touch with your provider. I am sure they will be able to help you with such a thing.

I can't think of any of my male friends who would do it. The Janey bit could be easy to do really by 'accident' so to speak.

I have 2 ex's....neither of whom I have heard from in +12 years. Couple of boyfriends since and I know they wouldn't do anything like this....and I have worked for myself for last +20 years, so not a colleague.

I thought ignoring it this am would be the best bet, but no....they couldn't resist asking if I wasn't at least curious.

@ True....Like you I had to ask my provider to block somebody's number (not some sick stalker btw) a couple of years ago, they said they couldn't and to save txts and take them to the police!!....stooopid as there was nothing wrong with those txt's...I just didn't want to be pestered so police wouldn't/couldn't have done anything anyhow.

Just taking 5 mins to get myself into bed...

Maybe things have changed then. All I know is, I had someone blocked from my phone, who would DEFINITELY have tried to text me, and I have received nothing.

Incidentally, quite happily merry now, so spelling and grammar may begin to fluctuate in quality to a degree, for which I apologise in advance!
