One, don't remember the name, But someone was going on about Comet Ison, and about how Ison is actually something else than a comet, and when it passes earth, there is going to be an "Enlightening" of all human civilization, whether they choose it or not, blah, blah, blah.

ISON is so last year, it wasn't a spaceship/planet X/nibiru or anything other than a comet that disintegrated.
Their was no mass enlightenment.
Since the first man their was probably some guy in a cave predicting some, "earth shattering event" and they simply don't happen .

I will take a guess......What has baffled human civilization for a thousand years???

Why some people keep making up silly predictions, and the gullible fall for them every single time.... then when nothing happens they make up another prediction, the gullible again fall for them, then when nothing happens they make up another prediction, the gullible again fall for them, then when nothing happens they make up another prediction, the gullible again fall for them etc etc etc.

I sometimes wonder if these guys don't all take a shot at a prediction in hopes that something happens, then some people will follow them, and they can fulfill their dreams of being cult leaders.

I mean, if you are the guy that nails a big prediction, there is money to be made on it. Lots of gullible people.

opethPA, I totally agree with you, I was devastated that Ison didn't survive the sun. I wanted to see it in the sky during the day. It was, after all, just a comet.

I remember Hale-Bopp, with it's double tail.

All the person was talking about was some pretty far fetched stuff.
I kinda wondered if the person who wrote it actually believes it? And if they did, well, a nice vacation with a nice white jacket that hugs you, and a nice soft room might be in order.

But who am I to judge.

Like I said, I really don't see anything coming of this.

You are right on the money......Kinda like doom porn. Some of the stuff people come up with is just down right, out of left field. But see, some people, like me, love to read it for entertainment. I have come to realize, that people have a tendancy to WAYYYYYY over think things, and make things into something they are not. And get worked into a tizzy, for nothing. As for me, my mundane life of going to work, coming home, cleaning, cooking will go on reguardless of this thing failing.

That would be bad.
Now, if it were a one word religion...

Yeah. How about the 'Love' religion?

Sort of.
But what I was getting at was more like; tell me about your religion with one word then shut the hell up.

I don't know where to begin. If you are a remote viewer or have out of body experiences, you have to watch out. For the past 20+ years they have been experimenting and trying to learn about alien thought transference. The problem is they have been trying it out on people. The problem occurs that more and more people are understanding of the heavenly realm. This causes a big problem to our survival as Christians, Jewish, Moslems, Buddists, etc. The nation has been trying to encapsulate these entities and do research on their ability to survive, ways of deception, and witchery. The problem is these are real people's minds not a floating entity or "alien". They're part of the cosmos which causes planetary action on earth. Most of the time people's prayer life is subconscious and involuntary such as seizures, etc but mankind has been trying to bring this precious communion with God to their own destination. This brings us to freewill. Where do we draw the line between science, man trying to control their universe, etc. For me, God's will is the best and only way. We should not try to interfere, but what happens when one man or government tries to infringe on another and causes harm or danger to another.
As you know the government has been asking for DNA from people. Pay attention to NIH. Soon chips will be in everyone if you want medical care. Drones will be monitoring thoughts and peoples whereabouts, etc. They haven't said to much about the future but the crop circles indicate we are almost near the disasters mentioned in Revelation. The crop circles indicate a wide disturbance of the earth halfway through the changing of the poles. The disturbance will be extreme but every year it will be less and less. The problem is most of the population will not be around. There is so much more.
I know for a fact that the WORD of God and Jesus Christ are the most important.

Reading information from his websites, he has research interests in these areas among others:

1) Remote viewing
2) Atlantis
3) He has a whole website devoted to his belief that the crucifixion was a ruse. Remote viewing is involved.

this guy needs to be locked up and let him give his predictions to himself there

Unless something incredibly uplifting, positive, equalizing, freeing and procuring abundance and progression for all, and saving our world, ocean/land/water/air, food, with the power shared by all, empowerment by all with highly educated and altruistic human race emerging, unless he's putting that out, he is coding the matrix. Interactive computer program that might tip over to disaster side if enough minds get on it. So he can stop! I'm putting out the positive and its coming this month! There, this month, today even. That is how I see it. And will never stop, not any day, or any month. Still will see it NOW!

The answer to that one, if there are any true religions out there should be
Love.

Update from Courtney.. no new info, just a reminder on things,

"Remember, the first of the Implication Postings comes out tomorrow, and similar postings will continue every few days until the major "announcement" happens sometime in February. The announcement will be huge, but the Implication Postings are not directly part of the announcement. They will be ideas that can be implied by the general essence of the announcement. The purpose of these Implication Postings is to encourage a more general public discussion with sufficient breadth and depth when the major announcement actually happens. Again, the major announcement will not involve any Earth changes, cataclysms, presidential revelations, or any such thing. It is actually much bigger than any of that, but it will take time for people to absorb and realize the extent of the change that will be initiated on that day in February. Nothing will be the same."

"A mystery that has confused our civilization for thousands of years will find an answer."

This seems to be the central statement. So what is a mystery that has confused civilization itself, not just recently, but for thousands of years? The one I can think of is the origins of mankind and religion.

Can anyone think of a different mystery that has confused civilization for thousands of years?
