OMG! What an amazing video, the guy running it is totally science-minded. First he shows the paper towel burning to prove the lighter is real... what was hilarious to me was when he was like "See, the lighter isn't melting the snow, let me grab my BLOW TORCH" then he even went so far to set up a control experiment with the ice cube.

Impressive.

We have snow here in Virginia. A lot of snow for this area. We got ten inches on Wednesday. Rare indeed. It real. I went out yesterday and nearly landed on my ass when I slipped on it.
What is weird for us anyway is we had snow two weeks in a row. Meanwhile in the last few years we've had less snow than we've had this month. My youngest was three before he saw his first snow. He thought the ground was covered with sugar. He looked out the window and said mommy the outside is covered with sugar. I got him bundled up and we went out to play. He took off his mitten so he could touch it and when he found out it was cold said want to go back in now please. He has always been sensitive to the cold. He would cry if he got cold.

Too bad he did not try all the angles like this video:

Dunno if anyone mentioned it yet, but:

(1) If you believe in chemtrails, you better believe that # they're spraying on us is coming down in the snow. This is proof

(2) I'd be interested to see a bioanalysis of the snow looking for similarities between anything in it and anything found in Morgellon's sufferers

(3) We have to stop these aholes in government from ruining our planet... this is getting insane

when the butane and oxygen mix and burn they create soot, if you flick the flame around on a piece of metal it leaves thee same black "burned" soot

This is an old science class trick, due to evaporation of ice crystals or something like that mass/density thing... place the snow it in a pot or pan on a stove and you will get normal melting of the ice/snow crystals, this eliminates evaporation issue caused by the direct flame being placed on the ice/snow crystals.

I was going to say try holding the lighter underneath the snow, not directly put the flame onto the snow!

I'm sure it would melt as it should.

I thought this debunking page was very reasonable in its explanation:

Is the world really this dumbed down?

If so, its scary.

Here's something semi-related, that our science minded friend in the OP's video would really freak out about....

Had this happen a few years ago up here in WA state. My friend was eating the snow at the time, and I was bored smoking a cigarette. I lit the snow on fire because I had nothing better to do, and it lit up like a candle and burnt down into a black mass.

My friend immediately induced vomiting.

We went inside to do some research and the best hypothesis we could come up with is that the weather system came out of Russia. Their pollution standards are non-existent, and so factories over there are pumping out vast amounts of pollutants into the air and into the area on the ground. Eventually, this was evaporated with the water molecules and made it's way to the states. We did a quick search on Russian snow and came up with a handful of hits that showed Russian people lighting up fields of snow as if there was gasoline poured on the ground. Purely speculation of course, but it's better than nothing!

Pretty insane if you ask me! Pretty damned reckless and dangerous.

I don't go out in the snow without covering my skin and face completely.

Don't want that crap getting into my body.

I tested my Alaskan snow earlier in the day. It melted like I (everyone) assumes it should, not exactly right where the flame is applied, but all around it, the lighter flame heated the whole thing up and started to drip quite easily, and I barely smelled any butane, there was black soot from the lighter, but it wipes right off and is wet. It reacted completly different from what the videos showed and what others are saying their snow is like.
Mine, melted easy (tested plain snow and ice from backyard both had similar results), didnt smell, and I wouldnt even say that it burned, it melted leaving wet soot behind.
Sounds like a pretty big difference, I know my snows legit lol

Snow melts just like snow should in Davenport, Iowa.

Hey, you just saved me a trip out into the backyard.
Good to know we've got the good stuff. It's cool to find someone else here from the QC! Looks like we're about to get a whole bunch more snow to experiment with.

The second video showing the woman burning the ball of "snow" shows a very obvious edit at 00:30. Perfect place to switch the actual snow with something else. I wouldn't put much credit in to this theory. It's all poppycock.

My brother in Texas texted me the other night about it. I guess they are getting some fake snow there too...

Very strange...

You are correct about this being proof, but not the proof you think it is.

This is proof youtube is dumbing down the population with videos such as this.

And what exactly is it they are spraying, because I have yet to see any evidence that shows chemtrails exist.

Like I said, "IF" you believe. You obviously don't buy into chemtrails, which is totally cool.

Okay, since you believe what exactly are chemtrails made up of?

I ask because nobody seems to know.

The blue part of the flame is not the hottest part of the flame. The guy in the video fails at basic chemistry.
