9 Years today as a member here

Hi guys

Well today is my ATS birthday, yep 9 years ago Cody599 took the plunge

And never have I regretted that decision, I've been a petulant child on occasion, an intellectual (it used to happen I promise), an enemy,and the class clown on more occasions than I care to remember.

I've debated, argued, found my head nodding in agreement, actually sat with my head in my hands in sheer disbelief at what I've read, cried with other members, and laughed until I thought I was going to hyperventilate.

From the inane to the unbelievable, from 1 line threads to the epic marathon we all joined in with at the time of the Boston bombings.

Recently I joined the BTS Avatar creations team and this has enriched my enjoyment ATS beyond measure, so thanks for the invite BFFT ( If you don't have an avatar yet, why not ? It's a free service some members provide as a way to give back to the community and there are some VERY talanted artists there, you can find us by clicking on my signature strip)

It gives a warm glow every time I see that someone has honoured me by taking an avatar I made

I've made many close friends on ATS and consider them very much my extended family.

Why have I come back to ATS on a daily basis for 9 years ? One word......................community

Yes the best community on the internet IMHO, that's you guys

So for enriching my life for the last 9 years, I thank each and every one of you regardless of your time served in the madhouse. It's been one hell of a ride and I've loved every minute of it.

To the staff, thank you for your hard and dedicated work and for keeping me on the straight and narrow in times of high emotion.
