IF jesus returned, how would we know it was him?

The description of the return is;
"They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory and he will send out his angels..." Matthew ch24 v30
That ought to be unmistakable.

On the other hand, the frauds are also easily detected.
"If they say to you "He is in the wilderness"...or if they say "Lo, he is in the inner rooms"- v26.
In short, if it's possible to go somewhere to see him, and the world has not ended already.
In other words, if there is somebody born into the world and moving about on it now and claiming to be or claimed to be the returned Christ, then he is a fraud by definition.

There is a place on this earth where you are.
That's enough to identify you as a fraud, by those criteria.
If you had appeared on the clouds of heaven with all the glory of the Father, we would have noticed.

Haha think if good old Jesus came back He'd probably end up in some Gitmo or Abu Ghraib like minded prison. Even if he did do tricks.. Like would we even take it seriously?? I think not.

Considering according to scripture all the tribulations in Revelations needs to transpire prior to Christ's return… I think those are fairly good indicator's. If they haven't happened the dude probably isn't really Jesus.

I don't believe the Bible is the Word of God. Just speaking as though I did.

lol, he wouldn't have something to prove. If someone asked who he was, he would tell them. but he wouldn't go around town trying to prove he's the messiah to everyone as if he's got something to prove.

Per the book. The messiah is a 4 man job according to Zechariah and Malachi. The Lord, the two messengers, and Elijah the prophet. The first messenger appeared at the building of the 2nd Temple. The Lord (Jesus Christ) and Elijah the prophet appeared in the first century AD.

Problem is one Messenger/Branch has yet to appear and rebuild a Temple. Jesus Christ won't reappear until the 2nd Messenger appears and builds the 3rd Jewish temple first.

No Temple? No Jesus Christ.
