Right wing hypocracy?

So,we all know about the BP spill,the trains derailing left and right,yet the right wing talking heads keep screaming drill baby drill! Let's face the facts,tar sand and such are just converting energy,it's really a net loss,after transport and refining cost.Yet as much as the keep yelling,they ignore Fukishima? If,as they claimed years ago,that Nuke was going to be so cheap that they would never even meter it,they ignore the current costs,and the enviromental effect. Granted,nuclear can be cheap and efficient,if they used thorium,rather than uranium.I thought that fracking made the US a major natural gas exporter,yet we have a shortage now? And why do they allow the use of heating oil on the east coast? If you want to convince someone of global warming,here's my idea...When they deny it,tell them to start they're car,let it run 20 minutes,and then touch the radiator...IT'S HOT!! That heat,ignoring everything in its production,never existed on earth,till you burnt it! 300 million people,say 150 million cars running,and heating homes,makes a lot of heat! Yet a little radiation is ok....

Well first off BP is not even an American company, and secondly while American companies were 'banned' for a time.

Foreign companies were 'drilling,baby,drilling'.

.Yet as much as the keep yelling,they ignore Fukishima?

Fukishima is in Japan, and is not a subject to US 'green laws'. or whatever the hell.

IT'S HOT!! That heat,ignoring everything in its production,never existed on earth,till you burnt it! 300 million people,say 150 million cars running,and heating homes,makes a lot of heat! Yet a little radiation is ok....

And the point is ?

The worlds largest polluter is China, and elsewhere.

What are we going to do ?

Act like Neocons are start wars to force people in to 'saving the planet' ?

I do see hypocrisy here.

Like forcing people in to a technology that is dependent upon the climate to work, and they say the climate is changing!

Of course the real hypocrisy here is all that alternative energy is made by fossil fuels because alternative as it stands right now has no means to replace current energy demands or keep pace with population growth.

I hate being "that guy", but before worrying about political hypocrisy, how about worrying about grammar and spelling? Reading your OP gave me a headache, what with the failure to space after punctuation, the misspelling of hypocrisy, run-on sentences, block of text.

No need to read every comment, Thread title and Authors name is sufficient, i could easily tell you the top 5 right wing posters on ATS, who will at least generate 2-3 anti-left threads per day.. but that would be against T&C.

It came to a point i usually skip them as soon as i see the author name and thread title, there is no discussion to be had there...

Oh please... First off, I am well aware of the concept in your little picture there, but that is unimportant. To speak about intelligent concepts such as hypocrisy, you need to actually be intelligent to understand them. Grammar is the window to intelligence on the internet. If you cannot form your message clear enough or make it look sloppy, it makes it appear as if you are uneducated. Also, it isn't just misspelled words that I had a problem with. It was also the paragraph formatting, it was all just a pain to read. I can forgive one or two typos, we all make mistakes (though with spell check and dictionary.com a few clicks away they should be very few and far between), but the OP reads like the author failed high school English class. It's actually kind of hypocritical that the OP discusses big words like "hypocrite" yet can't be bothered to display his meaning intelligently.

Actually reading the post, you can discover that the OP hasn't really pointed out any "right-wing" hypocrisies anyways. Fukushima is located in Japan and politicians in this country whether on the right or the left have little to nothing to do with that. BP is a private company and not to mention isn't even an American one. There are plenty of hypocrisies from the right, as well as on the left.

there are just a few of us on the left of center side, that respond anymore. the name-calling, rants, and unsubstantiated information has become a bore. to add to that, I think some of these threads are started by provocateurs for intel gathering, to deliberately sabotage meaningful debate, studies of some "ism" in culture, or simply their own amusement.

If by "right wing" you mean GOP....nope. You're wrong. Libertarians reign on ATS, followed by socialists. The "right wing" is just more vocal right now. Were you here while Bush was POTUS? The "lefties" were pretty vocal back then. But most of them were still libertarias.

Thats what is wrong with an "either/or" political system. Us libertarians get called "commies" by the right, and "tea partiers" on the left. Because, really, its all about the label you can make stick, and the connotations associated with that label.
