I don't remember the exact date. Within the last six months or so I think.

My friend's father was an Air Force engineer. Without citing any reason why, my friend (about 23 yrs old then) stated that he was convinced that the USA already had developed both invisibility and anti-gravity propulsion. This was in 1976.

Maybe this was has been worked on for a long time, or maybe this is just a shared goal, as flight itself once was.
It doesn't have to be real yet for people to talk about it.

Reminds me of that one quote supposedly by Ben Rich (formerly of skunkworks):

“We already have the means to travel among the stars, but these technologies are locked up in black projects, and it would take an act of God to ever get them out to benefit humanity. Anything you can imagine, we already know how to do.”

This dude was probably pulling everyone's leg.
Understand gravity first before you try to anti it

He used to say "we now have the technology to take ET home" this was a joke that he pulled during most of his speeches, he couldn't really talk much about current projects down at skunkworks. So he would say we've just been awarded a contract to take ET home, somewhere along the lines the UFO fanboys twisted his quotes around to suit themselves.

heres another interesting link 3500 US Marines in Operation Desert Storm had there lives saved by a craft called (Darkstar) antigravity disc craft with particle beam weapon

Darkstar was a technology demonstrator UAV, not an antigravity disk.

lets not forget about the (Bell) that the Germans developed in WW2 after the war the bell was brought to the US in PA later people reported that they saw a strange bell shaped craft flying with no sound also the American Bomber personal WW2 were killed by a glowing ball speeds over 2000 MPH the survivers reported the craft made no sound (foo fighters)

this is true also after 911 they revised Darkstar and now it is called Darkstar reborn that also is suppost to be a UAV but in the article that im referring to Lockheeds X-22A two maned discord craft they claim the X-22 UAV is an aircraft cover program to disguise the existence of the X-22A maned antigravity disc craft called the real (Darkstar)

There is no X-22 disk. The X-22A was built by Bell and was a quad tilt rotor design.

I'm always amazed by the fact that there are these supposedly ultra top secret programs, yet every tiny little detail is supposedly known about them. Don't you find that even a tiny bit suspicious?

If antigrav exist why spend a lot of money on new jet engine or hypersonic programs ?

well i'm not saying i believe conspiracy theories. they are usually quite silly or even demented. but think about what antigravity would be besides a way to get that neat hover board from back to the future.

it is highly likely that anti-gravity would enable tremendous speeds even all the way to 99 percent light speed or even beyond considering the gravity-Inertia equivalence principle.

such speeds would be a cheap way to make a weapon that has the destructive power of an atomic bomb without needing the resources of a nation to do it. any individual anywhere on earth could create a weapon that at is fastest could actually reduce the earth to dust and blow it out of the solar system. there are literally millions if not billions of chances for some sick, drunk, high, psychotic person to take out a city, a state, a nation, a continent or even the planet.

what would you do. even confirming the tech is possible means that one of the people who shouldn't have access to it can know it is real and begin developing it themselves. so you cannot even just restrict it to govt use only and let the people know about it because chances are it's a lot less complicated than atomic power or weapons. it's probably crap that a garage mad scientist type could do.

This may be going off on a tangent from your point, but...

I'm sure there rare exceptions, but if you go back and check the period literature, most secret projects had a lot written about them. Their existence and development were known, but what was secret were some construction particulars, location and intended mission. Often there were cover stories such as "weather monitoring" to mask their operations.

Almost all of what was written was informed speculation, or just flat out speculation. They didn't have the detail level that we supposedly have about these craft, such as propulsion systems (alleged anyway), weapons, etc. And in many cases it didn't come out until later, after the program was declassified.
edit on 1/26/2014 by Zaphod58 because: (no reason given)

Perhaps the tech does exist, but our current society is incapable of handling such inventions.
Probably after we smash ourselves to oblivion, then start over again, new world, new society and the emergence of advance technology would be better handled in their hands seeing war is no longer an issue and people minds are geared toward the betterment of mankind....
Eh, then again one can only hope.

i disagree. do you trust the current generation of politicians to control in total secrecy without any check or balance or oversight the power to destroy the world in a way even atomic weapons could not do?

If aliens really did know we had acquired this sort of thing and were watching our media, movies, magazines and so forth they might be tempted to send a greetings in the form of an automated aircraft carrier sized (RKV) missile programmed to impact earth at .99c. Maybe a whole volley of them.

the last thing i would do is cooperate with any govt on earth by giving them gravity control technology and i now sadly must include my own government in that.

the first thing that will happen if the knowledge of anti-gravity gets out on earth is several million despots, tyrants, psychopaths and terrorists will weaponize it and use it. while the major powers might refrain from that they would still exploit it militarily to the extent they could and still keep it secret.

even if good people get it and try to keep it to themselves the moment it is known by others to be possible the world begins to end.

HENCH, the destruction of our current world, thus reducing everything to zero, starting over again, but on a different note, only then, perhaps can we have this technology at our disposal.
But then this boils down to it even really existing an that means control, probably the very same folks who invest deeply into black programs.
Your right about one thing, our current society an mentality is geared toward WAR. Our peoples are experiencing an age of war, hopefully, one day, we will look past those differences, rise above the ashes and look to better ourselves, only then can we truly utilize said advance systems, because without the advent of war, but hundreds of years of peace, can we use them to advance our civilization and work as one....
THEN...
We come across an equally advance civilization and it all goes to hell again, now not only fighting, but fighting with devices an machines capable of destroying whole planets, it would be an epic war of vast proportions...
All in all, the technology will eventually come out, anti gravity or something close to it, its just a matter of what our mentalities our at the moment in our civilization.
Remember, we fought with the horse an carriage, then we invented cars, of which we fought with those, then the plane...then UAVs...so anti gravity?
Let us hope not in our current generation.

Like the 'Aurora' and 'TR-3B' that are so highly classified that everyone seems to know every single minute detail about them. Great OPSEC

Not on this level. This isn't "spillage", it's releasing the entire classified file which can be espionage. But no one has gone to jail for violating their NDA or releasing all this info.

Spillage would be something along the lines of "there's a new hypersonic jet out there" not there's a new hypersonic jet named the Aurora it's top speed is Mach 6 and ceiling is 100,000 feet..

Like Zaph said if it was real then someone would have had their ass handed to them for such a breach of OPSEC and for breaching an NDA.
