Kirk was an ass, always was.

Sisko all the way...hes Jesus...end of story.

He might have been an ass, but there's no better poker player among starship captains. If you need out of an impossible situation. Kirk is your man.

Linear timeline. But when he went into the Nexus Kirk wasn't much older than Picard.

Picard..
um..
janeway.
For funnies.. Kirk.

Ok, i gotta admit, i never grew up around Kirk era, when i watch reruns, tho the OST is good, i find kirk acting funny and stupid. He thinks he is a playa!.

I never got into DS9, only because the abundance of Frengi in that show, i found them disgusting.

Voyager was the next show i picked up after TNG, and i didn't like it at start but after 7of9 joined, i enjoyed it a bit more.

TNG is hands downs my fav,im pretty sure mostly is because of Picard. Only disappointed factor abut TNG in my opinion is the ending, i always thought they could have done it a bit better.

I've got a question. Which of them is more apt to contract Space Herpes?

Neither. They cured that in 2175.

Damn, talk about making it tough on me. well, let's whittle it down, that's easier. Let's see, Kirk would go out the airlock straight away. Hit on the vacuum, horn dog. I like Janeway, but that tick-tock clock eyes thing she does with her eyes scanning over people would drive me up the wall (a petty way to whittle it down, but oh well) Archer, Picard, or Sisko....If I have to put up with more Prophets/Pah-wraiths BS, I'll leave him on the nearest planet in a heartbeat. Let's remove him from the list to be on the safe side, I don't need my captain disappearing to defeat exiled wormhole aliens. Archer or Picard. Archer...or Picard...Archer's downside is that he's more quick to jump the gun, that would not be beneficial to potentially encountering new species. Diplomacy matters in the long run, so I'd have to say all things considered, I'd pick Picard.

Janeway, of course. She took into consideration what others were feeling, but never hesitated to take any decisive action no matter how difficult. She handled being so far from home with optimism and a sense of adventure, even when she just wanted to cry, and her outward appearance of optimism lifted her crew up and filled them with determination instead of hopelessness. She could be hard when needed, and soft when needed. I don't think there has been a better diplomat. And, Seven of Nine. Hopefully she'd bring her along. Nuff said.

No-brainer here; Kirk was a little banty rooster. As a captain, he set a rather undignified example.

Has anyone heard of a new series in the works? I think it's long past due.

Wow, I had a huge brain fart with Archer's name. My apologies for screwing that up. I know there are some devoted fans here that it must have annoyed. It happens...
