Mayor of Toronto, drunk and talking in "jamaican".

Not much to say other than I can't believe he actually thinks he's the right man to lead Toronto in the future...And we tought it was going bad in Montréal with all the corruption, not sure which city comes up on top as the biggest joke in Canada in 2013/14.

Lol.

Is Canada competing with the U.S. for the biggest political idiot?

Maybe this should be an Olympic event. I think Obama is still the champion.

How can you not love this guy? The fact he has announced his intention to run for re-election is freaking awesome. I hope he gets re-elected if only for the entertainment value he provides. I just really really REALLY wish Chris Farley was still alive to do Rob Ford skits on SNL.

Im pretty sure if Will Sasso would be a good runner up next to Chris Farley haha

Honnestly, Rob Ford is more of a real person then most of these other polititians out there.

I would much rather have him as a mayor then have some religous nut job running my city, (I can say that because religous nut jobs actually run my city).

You know, at least he owns up to his mistakes unlike *cough*Harper*cough*Obama*cough*

I would much rather have Rob Ford as my Prime Minister then the racist, 2 faced, lieing sack of fermented # Harper.

GO FORD GO!

Ford is what everyone politician is behind closed doors. He just totally and utterly and completely lacks any type of social/behavioural filter.

I like him because I kind of see him as the most honest politician around. (Through his actions not his actions related to his words.)

Another thing, people in that city should be comforted in the fact that he couldn't really do that much damage. Take some swindling spineless douche that acts perfect in public meanwhile he is selling off your city to corporate interests… well, we know Ford couldn't even make it in to one of those closed door meeting to arrange it.

Thats the sad thing about it all...Here are your options fellow canadians :

crack smoking mayor, drunk out of his mind or sharp looking buisness man ready to sell your very soul to pursue the neoliberal hyper capitalist agenda...

I mean the people of Toronto really like him though right? Even after the crack smoking scandal?
At least that was my understanding.

I'm with tenth, lets all move up there and make sure this guy gets another go

The people do love him ,because despite all his problems, Toronto is better off now than it was before Rob took office.

They don't see a need to remove somebody for a little nonsense. Although it is getting a wee bit out of hand.

You know whats great about Rob Ford? After years and years of unaccountable spending, this guy is trying to lower costs.

Take for instance garbage collection. David Miller would talk a big game, let the garbage strike go until people got fed up then give into the union demands. What did this cause? Garbage collection people having huge salaries, job security, incredible pensions, etc. Rob ford comes in and contracts out half of the city's garbage collection and shows that theres a huge savings in money if they use a contractor and the service doesn't change.

Say what you will about his antics, this guy is the best thing to happen to Toronto in a long time. Far too long has it been run by people that think the city bank account is a bottomless pit of cash.

Makes me wonder if this isn't the reason we're hearing all this dirt on Ford; because the garbage union has it out for him.

A lot of people have expressed the sentiment that all politicians are like this but, Ford doesn't hide it. Maybe they get away with it because TPTB (unions and big corporations) keep the lid on their indiscretions in exchange for them keeping the gubment money train rolling in their direction. The media is owned by just a handful of big corporations. They have the power to control what news we see. Maybe they're really covering up for all the other scumbags and holding Ford up as an example of what can happen if anyone else steps out of line.

I love this guy. I watch skits about him on Jimmy Kimmel what seems like every night now, but I can understand how frustrating it would be for residents of Toronto who are represented by him.

I intend to vote for the Mayor in the next election. I think it says a lot about Toronto that large numbers of people think personal decorum is more important than platform policies in a Mayor. "Toronto the Good" they used to call it.

It is starting to look like during the next election campaign in Toronto voters will be asking themselves the question "Rob Ford drunk or Olivia Chow sober?" That's simple for me. Rob Ford drunk.

I just wish the Mayor's many friends in Toronto's many ethnic communities, all of whom seem to party with him (He's the only white guy I know of who swears in Jamaican patois.), would save their favorite videos of him reeling drunk for a nice compilation video that could be released after he finishes his second term of office, puh-leeze!

ROB FORWARD! FORD FOR MAYOR OF TORONTO

Do your part for Toronto!!

Dont dis Ford man , he is a man of and by the people , thats why they are attacking him at every level !! The controllers dont like this . He is the only mayor to bring the citys' finances under control , until city council blocked his plans time and time again .

This man is funny , has character and actually cares and listens to the will of his people ! Even if he did smoke crack , WTF difference does it make when other politicians get drunk beat their wives and LIE to US on a daily basis (ahh hum Canadian Senate !!), WTF is the difference !!

I dont even live in Toronto , and I love this man , for going agaisnt those Politcally Correct fascist yuppies the city had to endure for Decades of reckless behaviour and spending . Those people have earned the distrust of the Public by way of deceipt !

And now they want Olivia Chow to run , she is NDP(party) , the most socilaist party in Canada , you want poverty and redistribution of middle class wealth , just vote her in . She will cause even more damage the the Liberals did under Mcguinty !
